We made a reservation on OpenTable for their outdoor patio on Saturday for brunch. We were sat right next to their fountain, which was great at first but there was some occasional water splashing on our table/food. My friend and I both ordered Hunter's scramble, and for drinks I ordered a bellini and she ordered a greyhound. Our drinks arrived right away, however, we weren't provided any water glasses. I asked the wait staff several times for water, which was not provided until a few minutes before we got the bill. This was discouraging as all tables around us had water glasses and they were refilled several times throughout our meal. I guess don't order cocktails if you'd also like water with your meal. I liked the Hunter's scramble though did think the portion was a little small for the price. My bellini was all right but my friend did like the greyhound.

Really amazing food. The chicken sandwich I had was delicious, and I felt as though they redefined the meaning of “flavor” in a sandwich! It was rich and the texture was perfect, the bread had a great consistency, and the coffee was wonderful.

service. Everyone was very kind and warm. The ambiance is beautiful as well, nice lights and greenery. We were greeted promptly and with professionalism. The seats on the outdoor patio are incredibly uncomfortable and are not friendly for wide hips. They have no vegetarian options with the exception of bread, drinks, olives, and cheese. We were informed that all their salads and pastas could be made without meat, but paying 30 for a dish that is priced knowing the cost of meat, without a veggie substitution was not something we thought worked for us. Our waiter recommended the Arancini and it was absolutely delicious. Great aioli, the cheese was fresh and not overpowering. The focaccia was fluffy and paired well with the olive oil too. I only didn’t give 5 stars due to the lack of options and also the chairs. If we choose to come back for their brunch menu, I will update.

The server was friendly and helpful. I think the service was excellent. For the meal, we had cheesy garlic bread, four cheese tortellini, and the pizza. I would say the pizza was forgettable, would never order it again. There weren’t many tortellini, but it was filling, and the sauce was delicious. I enjoyed the cheese bread as well. Overall, it was a great experience, with the food being above average. I would come here again, but it might be a while.

I had my wedding dinner at the Magic Flute Restaurant nearly 40 years ago. I can't believe that I haven't written about it! The Magic Flute always has an interesting menu and delicious food. Some friends and I happened in the other evening and got a table in the front window (my favorite place to sit because it is quiet, though the restaurant is not very noisy), and we had the date dish, ravioli and whatever the other dish is that is pictured. It was all fabulous. I'll find photos of other meals I've had at the MF. I eat there frequently! It's my go-to neighborhood restaurant.

This is a real gem! So beautiful and gracious. The service was excellent and the food very good, though small portions. Delightful atmosphere. And nice to then go shopping and explore the beautiful design stores in the area.

We came here on a cold and rainy night. The restaurant was nice and warm inside. The front room was full so we had to sit in the back. Our waitress was extremely nice and accommodating. They have a very simple menu. The garlic bread was light and fluffy and very garlicky.

Such a wonderful place to have a romantic birthday lunch with the husband. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is beyond charming and the service was fantastic from both our waiter and the owner Joe. We sat in the garden patio which was a peaceful oasis from the hustle and bustle of the city. The fried olives are a must try as is the cheesy garlic bread. Save some room because they knock it out of the park with their cinnamon dusted beignets with homemade mascarpone whipped cream and raspberry preserves. We will definitely be back the next time we’re in SF.

Great atmosphere breakfast patio. There are some dishes that are priced high but then others that are very reasonable like their omelette. I really enjoyed their Lox bagel. It’s a great place to bring your significant other or a great place to catch up with an old friend. The waiters are very nice. It’s a family owned business and the owner will still shake hands with each customer as they are leaving.

This place is sharp. Excellent service and fresh food. This time I sat in the dining room, but have dine in the back enclosed patio/garden. Great for small groups, too. Brunch is my favorite here.

Charming atmosphere both indoors and especially on the garden patio. The burger was amazing, the soup delicious, and the Arnold Palmer with San Pellegrino limonata was a treat. The service was excellent!
