Great service and food. I had the spring rolls as a starter and the red curry 🍛 with tofu as a main. 🌱 The curry has a nice, mild spiciness to it which is not too hot - just perfect. Location is not ideal as a walk-in during the evening but I never had issues with it.
Ordered on door dash. The food was pretty solid; we ordered the Pad Gra Tiem, thai Omelette and Kra Dook Moo Tod.
The fried spareribs with the sweet and sour sauce was delicious. The beef and the omelette were more on the ordinary side but still tasty.
The food here is spectacular. The home made flavor of visiting family. This was my first time. The waitress was really nice and waited for me to find what I wanted to eat and made recommendations on her favorite meats with the dishes I ordered. Everything well plated and hot. The sauce packed with flavor. The prices very fair for such good food. Definitely come here if you want a nice casual dining experience. Not over crowded either. Plenty of seating. I ordered flat noodles. My favorite and a veggie dish with basil. Yum
Great little place for some bomb food! Fast and friendly service. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! So far my friends and I have enjoyed everything we’ve ordered. Get the Pad Kee Mao and Egg Fried Rice if you don’t know what to get
nice Thai restaurant, a few blocks away to Hilton SF hotel.
The Red Curry was very good n tasty!
they have a lunch-combo-special, however I had to explicitly ask for it during lunch time window.
affordable prices, especially the lunch combo.
The interior could be a bit more "thai-cozy", plus it was too cold inside.
but overall it was very good and most definitely the food was very tasty!

Hidden gem I’m just upset I forgot to take pictures. Everything we had was amazing. Even their hand sanitizer was the high quality one. We had Thai ice teas that were so delicious. My husband wanted shrimp tempura but they don’t have any, so she told him to get the crispy shrimp rolls. My husband couldn’t believe it was better than tempura. We had the pad Thai which was Level 10. The pork fried rice also excellent. We ordered a beef noodle soup but we were too stuffed to eat it. Definitely 👍 give this place a try. They must have had like 10 door dashes while we were here. They also have a section of Laos food with all the well known dishes. Give it a try! You won’t regret it. Give Ashley a high five 🖐️ She’s charismatic and friendly.
Food was FANTASTIC!!!!!! Great quality in food and the flavors were out of this world. Hands down best Thai chicken noodle I've ever had 😋 Chicken fried rice and the Pad See were so delicious. Next time I am in San Francisco, my husband and I will be back!
Very attentive and friendly staff. The food was delicious and spicy, just the way I like it! I think the drinks were a little too sweet, but that just might me my personal preference. Tried Thai Pink Milk for the first time and it essentially tasted like creamy bubblegum. My date had a Thai Tea and she ended up really enjoying it. If you're in the Tenderloin and have a craving for Thai, check it out.
We went for lunch. I really miss pad Thai and thai papaya salad which rarely can be found in Montreal. Thai pink milk (strawberry flavor) was sweeter than Thai iced tea. We had chicken pad thai, chicken pad see you , chicken noodle soup,Thai papaya salad ,small chicken Tom Yum, fried banana with ice cream. Pad Thai, pad see you and Thai papaya salad were quite salty for me. Tom Yum was acidity.
Came down from Seattle with my 19 year old cousin from Italy who isn't big on Thai food. He absolutely smashed his plate and sides. The atmosphere is chill and service is very friendly. We ordered pad ki mao and pad see ew and egg fried rice . Vest price point of $35 and change before tip

Good choice of food . Very fresh and clean . I loved my meal. Reasonably price and good portions too .
Short walk from the Hilton Union Square. We randomly picked Tycoon and we're glad we did!!! Everything was excellent, reasonably priced and all fantastic! Staff is very friendly. No doubts here, very satisfactory!
One of best Thai kitchen in US or Asia! Collar pork is tender soft w home made tamarind chilli, fresh and good value!
I come here all the time. It's definitely my favorite local joint. My favorite is their pineapple fried rice with a yellow curry, but I also like their Pad Mee Lao.
Would also recommend their Papaya Salad if you're looking for something that is simultaneously very hot and very sweet. Pretty addictive imo.
This place is diamond in the rough.
Loved this little place, the service was very friendly and warm, the place itself was very clean. However be aware that their Thai spicy is SUPER SPICY Neither me or my fiance could not really handle it and he eats chili peppers for lunch.
Tycoon has been my go-to place for delicious Thai food 3 years now. The quality and taste of their food has been consistent and I know that I will enjoy my meal every time I order here.
I usually go back and forth with the Pad Thai and Pad See Ew. The Pad Thai has the right amount of tanginess from the tamarind that I enjoy. The Pad See Ew has deep soy sauce flavor. It’s hard to choose sometimes which one I want.
I’ve also had their fried chicken with fried rice and chicken noodle soup. The fried chicken with fried rice, that comes with a sweet and sour sauce, is really good and not that greasy. The chicken noodle soup is comforting on a cold day.
I’ve also had their Laotian noodles and grilled chicken rice plate. The Laotian noodles come with a lot of veggies and the grilled chicken is a healthier alternative to the fried one without skimping on flavor.
As for desserts, I’ve only had the mango sticky rice and it’s a yummy way to end any meal you get there.
Service is fast and friendly. They do a lot of takeout orders but they manage to get orders done in a timely manner. The atmosphere inside is casual with a few tables for indoor dining.
I’m so glad that Tycoon has survived the pandemic. If you’re in the Tenderloin and want delicious and affordable Thai food, definitely check Tycoon out.
Really good food here. Their tom num spicy and sour soup was really close to what I had in Thai. The chicken was also yummy!
Food was cooked with care and quality. Enjoyed the tom yum soup and pad ped stiryfry but the portions were too tiny for the price. Nice interiors with a TV, seems like a nice place to kickback with some beers (they have Chang!).
