This was a jewel to find in the neighborhood ,on our way to the Cow Palace. Our waiter PJ was great, his suggestion made our dinner fantastic. The tuna tartare the fish tacos and the turkey burger was excellent. The Yuca fries was something I enjoyed in Puerto Rico as a kid great memories brought back. Can not wait to visit San Francisco again, we will have dinner at this wonderful restaurant again, thank you for your service, Diana and I enjoyed every minute of it. Bernal star rocks

The mole enchiladas, only served on weekends, were amazing. The huevos rancheros, chicken enchiladas and chilaquiles were equally amazing. Please eat here, you won't be sorry.

The entrance is a small outdoor entrance that looks like a hallway into a private patio, but you’ll have arrived right where you need once you see the patio. Love the patio setting with the option to also sit indoors. Brunch is til 3pm. Best dish to order are the beignets with fresh fruit. Absolutely fantastic, and their house made jam is YUM! Eggs Benedict was good yet the side potatoes were dry. The chilaquiles had good sauce but were completely soaked in the sauce, making them soggy. A couple of vegetarian options available. Coffee, juices, and alcohol drink’s available. Accepts credit card and cash.

I had brunch on the patio between the two buildings. Both my friend and I brought our dogs, as did other diners. The clientele was diverse and friendly. I had chicken enchiladas and soft poached eggs. It was perfect and not too pricey. My friend's French toast looked really good, too. We shared a side of roasted potatoes - simply prepared and delicious. Parking is tricky, but of course.

The Beignets here is my favorite dish so far. So light and the fruits came with it were fresh and sweet. Also like the fact that the hot chocolate is not super sweet. The kids menu item was healthy and in generous in portion! Will be back again to check out the chicken pot pie which looked very good too!

Had a nice late lunch on the back patio. Food was good. Especially enjoyed the homemade tropical iced tea and beignets. Server was friendly. Cute/comfy neighborhood cafe.

Great atmosphere, good food, but a little on the expensive side. Was seated by a sunny window overlooking a quaint garden. Probably the best seat in the entire restaurant. I wouldn't get the ceviche again. Presentation was good but, the freshness you'd expect wasn't there. I'd would lean towards ordering their breakfast/brunch options next time. The wild boar burger turned out to be more like a breakfast sausage sandwich. I was looking for a juicy burger, and did not find that in this. Should have went with either the lamb or the beef burger instead. We asked for lettuce and tomato slices to go on the burger, but was not informed that there would be an extra 💲 charge. Overall, I'm feeling ambivalent about this restaurant. I should be able to order anything on the menu and enjoy it as much as the popular food options. Otherwise, why have it on the menu at all. 🤷🏼‍♀️

We had a party of 5 on an unusually warm (SF natives would say HOT) evening. Outside dining in what appears to have been the backyard of a house on Courtland Ave. We could tell it was a challenging night for the servers. Maybe the heat was to blame? Not sure. At one point we had to ask to check on our order and somehow the waiter hadn't entered it or sent it in to the kitchen for 20 minutes after taking our order on an night with every table in the house sat. It looked like he was going to melt down the poor guy left alone to wait way too many tables. Frazzled the staff rallied and got us our food and things settled down. My girlfriend had a chicken pot pie as big as her head. I made the unfortunate choice of fish tacos that, while not lacking flavor, were over priced. Nonetheless my friends all enjoyed their meals. I've been to this place a handful of times before and have had various dishes and experiences. Will for sure return.

Good hidden gem in the neighborhood with great Huevos Rancheros and freshly squeezed OJ. Their Benedict plates are also highly recommended. Has indoor and outdoor seating now. Good for small groups as venue is not too big being in a house setting.

I love Bernal Star’s veggie burger! It’s so yummy and a good size portion! I love the outdoor patio and also indoor seating too although the seats could be a bit more comfortable. I love the natural lighting and the staff is the absolute best and SO friendly! A classic in the neighborhood.

Our favorite spot for brunch! The food and service is consistently good, and prices are fair. Sometimes there are puppies in the patio, and they even have an elusive patio kitty.

Outdoor patio. I know our waiter was very busy he kept walking back n forth constantly checking in and taking orders. I am sure his dogs were barking by the of his shift. Patio only has heated lamps on one side.

A very pleasant neighborhood eatery. We met there and SAT for hours. An interesting menu, both familiar and more exotic offerings for brunch.

Hidden jewel in Bernal, the outside patio is very simple. Nice atmosphere and awesome service. The price is a bit high but the payback is evident. Not your every day spot, good for inspiring occasions.
