This was the best curry I have ever had, the spicy chicken curry and the original roti was so awesome, they also provide a milk tea, I didn’t add any sugar in there because it’s a little bit sweet for itself, I believe you guys will love it. The employee are very friendly even he was busy all the time, and I’m just alone but i still got a whole table for a comfortable delicious meal. The price is a very reasonable price, I don’t know how to cook a meal but I know how to eat( I think this is the foremost skill😂)
Will definitely visit again if I come back to San Francisco again!
Highly recommend 👍👍👍
I’ve been coming to this amazing Indian food restaurant fir over 12 years and it’s still amazingly good. I’m super traditional when I order here it’s always chicken tikka masala, rice, veggies semosas, and garlic naan you can not go wrong with this. In the past I’ve had the Tandoori dishes and they are also amazing. Dinner time can be busy so plan a head. I always order take out but you can dine in and bring your alcohol if you like that. The staff is super friendly.
Awesome gravy and smooth paneer pieces. I really liked the shahi paneer Tikka masala. Must try.
Only 4 star because the garlic bread was not good enough. The garlic should be topped with ghee or butter, it was dry. And the price was crazy high. I ordered one curry and one garlic naan on GrubHub and the total was $33 !! Prices r supposed to be lesser fr delivery since there is no service involved.
this is a sweet symphony of flavors and smells that cuts through the typical scent of tenderloin. from the fluffiest naan to the piping hot curries that will take your palette on a joyride. i came here for the first time two years ago (my Airbnb is right above it) and had to try the lamb vindaloo it made me cry, worth it. this time around, i ventured out to a veggie korma. it was steaming hot and the rice held it ever so gently. it’s my fave spot in town! i seriously cannot get enough of this place.
Best meal we had in SF!! Our Chicken was smooth and the mango lassi was as perfect as the garlic naan. Cosy atmosphere and friendly staff. The chef was honestly interested if we liked his food, very sympatico. A culinary isle of happiness.
This place was right next door to our Airbnb. We came home via uber and saw the place was packed with lots of people! We figured it must be good so we tried it!
They bring you utensils and a knife and fork however you have to get your own water and menu. To order just go up to the counter and they'll bring it to your table. When coming in just seat yourself to whatever free table is available.
We got the onion naanx2 rice mango lassi and fish korma(?). Omg the naan is amazing. And the korma was also very delicious. I'd say that 1 naan, riceand 1 dish of korma was enough for 2 people. My god we struggled to finish the lassi rice and other naan. It was so good. I've grown up with so much Indian food and was shocked that this was better than most I've had! Definitely worth it to check out. Ambience is not to die for but the food is good.
Total of our bill was 28.
I'd go there again!
Instantly became my favorite indian spot! Delicious cheese garlic naan, smooth and creamy butter chicken, moist tandoori chicken leg, and prawn biryani rice! The rice was spiced just right with lots of ingredients. Self serve chai tea station.
There were only 2 people working so super busy, but worth the wait! Amazing prices for the generous portions, had to pack some to go. Dont come here for the decor, come for the food! You can watch the chef at work in the clean open kitchen!
The food is absolutely delicious. The Chicken Tikka Masala was creamy and flavorful with high quality chicken. The garlic naan was warm and soft. It's in a really bad neighborhood, but the food is absolutely worth it
Very delicious food, almost on par with homemade! Lots of options I wish I tastes but nonetheless a great variety of curry in both chicken and lamb/goat. Naan bread is well Made, chai tastes good and is a nice free complement to the food and also great while waiting, and on top of that the service was excellent. Would visit again!
The place is small & not fancy but the food was excellent! We had chicken tikka masala, chicken biryani & vegi pakora. All the dishes were delicious and freshly made, the server was very friendly.
We tried their Chicken biryani.
It had plenty of boneless pieces , and a good amount of rice . We asked for mild spice - and it was perfectly flavored.
Quick service .
This place has been through it all and they are still standing. I used to live across the street from here and had it every week! Love this place made me fall in love with Indian food and it is highly recommended if you are in town to visit GO HERE. After I moved back to Reno I would come and visit and bring back a bunch of dishes for family and friends. It’s very authentic and a hole in the wall restaurant that is worth every penny HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
I loved this place. The owner is Friendly and kind
I usually order to go, and enjoy eating at my work place or in my car. My order often is tikka talks mesla with white rice and naan
This is my favorite desi restaurant in the bay area that I discovered recently. The chicken tikka masala is perfection with the white rice. Also the mango lassi is amazing. I believe this location is now closed as I walked by the other day and the people working inside said it's going to be a Mediterranean restaurant now. If anyone knows if Lahore Karahi is moving to a new location, please update their listing. The other restaurants don't know how to make chicken tikka masala.
One of the best Indian/Pakistani spot in the Bay Area. They have perfected the “butter chicken” the one and only most tasty butter chicken I have tried in my life.
Good taste and good food !! Love it
Nihari with naan is my special item when i visit this place. Chicken biryani also so good. My order was all fresh and tasty. You also have a choice to made it more hot if you can handle spicey food.
