Great environment. Hip yet laid back. Knowledgeable barristers. High quality food in addition to a nice selection of wines. Pub style trivia on Wednesdays (a cut above most other pub trivia's, or let's say a rarer vintage).
This is a nice hidden spot in the city that's great for a conversation and with an excellent selection of wine. The staff was really attentive ("I'd rather be annoying and neglectful") and gave helpful descriptions of the wine. We also got the artichoke, kale dip, which was as delicious as it sounds.
I first encountered pause when I took a Wine & Canvas class there. I really like the atmosphere, and their staff was very nice and genuine. I was also impressed to see a vegan flatbread pizza option on their appetizers menu. I'd definitely go back.
Cozy wine bar with pescatarian food options. Owner and staff are very sweet and knowledge about their wine. Good rotation of wines by the glass. Unique blackboard wall with colorful chalk drawings give this place unique character.
Excellent place to be right after work. Great organic wines and delicious small dishes. They know me by name and great atmosphere. Nice place to be before heading out to the symphony. Love the customer service!

The bar tenders here are always really nice, will answer your questions. I found them very knowledgeable and will let you taste before pouring you a glass.
Good trivia night on Wednesdays. Food is overpriced and only so so. Ok wine selection.
