Tasty Korean food and a lot of it. The side dishes are lovely and they gave each of us a yellow croaker (fish) which is nice. Tofu soup is comforting and salty. The dolsot bibimbap is great when you get crispy rice (don’t stir the outside for ten minutes). The only weird item is the seafood pajeon, which is VERY thick. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but is not really what I expected. Staff was friendly to us and accommodated the children that were with us.

Love this place! We’ve been going for 8 years and can’t recommend it enough. Their babchan is extremely generous and they offer a small/medium sized fish as part of their banchan! The banchan includes yummy cucumbers, tofu, kimchi, and bean sprouts. They consistently refill them! They also provide tea and rice for free as part of the tofu soup order. Would highly recommend the fish egg tofu soup at medium spice. (They also have bibimbap and scallion pancake)

absolutely absolutely absolutely LOVE THIS PLACE. i’ve been coming here as a kid with my family now i come here with my friends. best Soft Tofu Soup place in SF hands down. and they side, don’t get me started on their sides. it’s definitely delicious i will literally crave for their cucumber day and night. i’ve tried remaking it at home but never came close. i wish they would see it to me because i love it so much. i always ask if i can have some extra to go and sometimes they will shut me down but most times they’ll give me a box free of charge which is so nice. been coming here for years even going through the pandemic. certainly super happy that they opened back up

It was my first time going to this restaurant and the food was pretty good. I ordered the dumplings soft tofu with mild spicy and my friend got the seafood soft tofu with non spicy. I’d say my order was pretty good except those small rice cakes. Those were a bit too mushy. They served white rice with the tofu soup, and rice was scooped at the table from a hot stone pot. My friend really liked the crispy fried fish (part of the banchan). Reasonable price and appropriate portion and the service was good.

Vegan tofu soup options, vegan option for the vegetable pancake (no egg), and bibimbap. All delicious! Although the broth needs more flavor and seasoning if they can replace the fish sauce / meat seasoning. Friendly service, but very busy and a bit slower during dinner hours. We came around 7 and got in without a wait but quickly had a line between 7:30-8:30pm

Limited menu for a Korean restaurant, but this place hits the spot on a cold December night. Their soft tofu soups come out hot and bubbling. And the bimbop was sizzling. I havent tried the meat dishes in a while, so I can't say anything except they smell wonderful passing by. Our waitress this time was super friendly and kept our tea cups filled. She even came back and brought more bonchon. My friend loves the fried crokers. This place gets really busy on weekends nights. There might be a little wait.

Awesome Tofu house in the area, food is great, a bit pricey but comes with big portions. Took one star off the service and atmosphere as the server we had didn't respond or acknowledge our ask for refilling water and dishes. They will do it as they see it but just would be nice if they can at least acknowledge it when someone requests. Parking is a nightmare so expect to park a couple blocks away.

This is the most generous and soulful places I've ever visited among all korean cafe/restaurants in SF and NYC. They have absolutely great Tofu Soup and a great amount of salads per person. I love this place and wish them all best ❤️

This is a must visit restaurant... it's a tofu house. The offerings are simple - tofu soups, meats, bibimibaps, and pancakes. One-sided menu. Plus 4 sides and fried mackerel. Every choice is a great choice. The depth of flavor created in the soup is soul warming. I've enjoyed the mushroom and tofu soup as well as the ramin, carrot, and onion tofu soup. Customer service is excellent when you need something. Just look up. The soup is like a warm hug from your mom after having a rough day. It's just what you need. The side dishes are cucumber, warm simi- spicy fish cakes, kimchi, and bean sprouts

Unassuming from the outside. One might just walk past without seeing. But the service and the food are great! What a wonderful place to share a meal with old friends.

Ordered delivery soondubu, very impressed with value! (Photo is only ONE entree’s worth!) Huge portions, we couldn’t finish our soups and still had an entire container of banchan left (which were all individually delicious). Was also surprised to receive an entire packet of fried fishes- very generous amount. Non-spicy is exactly that, zero red. Medium spicy wasn’t crazy spicy either, good for those looking for a little heat but still able to taste the flavor. The dumpling in the soondubu were fresh and very flavorful with nice thin wrapper, and though I normally find dduk overly chewy and boring, theirs tasted freshly made and bouncy and reminded me more of fresh mochi. Also love that you can add meat, veggies, etc. to the soondubu for only $1 more each! Looking forward to ordering from here again.

This is my favorite place for korean tofu soup. Their kabi is delicious as well. Service and food is great. The lines move fast. Small menu for korean food... overall everything is delicious.

I’ve been going to this place for over 7 years, because it’s easily the best place to get Korean tofu soup in the city. Once the pandemic is over, this is one of the first restaurants I plan to visit. In the meantime, I’ll have to settle for takeout (which is still delicious, but it’s not the same as having tofu soup served piping hot in a stone bowl, with a side of rice and barley tea).
