We came here to hear Detroit-based Urban Art Orchestra and had a nice time.
They have a solid wine & cocktail selection, but service could be improved a bit.
A really nice dinner and jazz club in the Tenderloin. Pleasant bar upstairs, and performances with bar and dinner downstairs. They get some really great musicians and the atmosphere is warm and inviting, with high energy for the music. A few tables have obstructed views but I have always found great seating. Highly recommended.
So good! We saw Sungazer here and had the prix fix menu with drinks! Great dinner and show, but don’t expect to show up and mosh!
Parking is bad. Park in a safer-feeling, cleaner part of town and grab a taxi or walk. I don’t think it’s actually too unsafe, but it’s not a welcoming area outside.
The venue is great though! There’s a street-level bar, but the main stage/bar/dining area is downstairs. Super lovely!

Oh my Good God this place. 🔥 You would be CRAZY not to try the bruleed pineapple old fashioned. Here is the old fashioned menu - it's all you need. Aran the bartender up top is phenomenal. Bryce downstairs is fantastic as well. If you're looking for an experience in San Francisco you should definitely come here. ♥️
Such a great experience, my first time in a jazz club , music food and the ambiance was great, oh my god i loved the chicken dish that I ordered , my server was so good and staff were very friendly , we got a great sitting spot, come visit this place, it gave me the John wick feeling 🤣, if you know what I mean 😆
A very nice subterranean venue with great acoustics and sight-lines from nearly everywhere. Small, dimly lit, intimate, reasonably priced. During one recent night, the wait staff seemed utterly incompetent, making one mistake after another with several tables (drinks sat on the bar for 10 mins; drinks & food were brought to wrong tables repeatedly; one table’s order was never put through, on and on it went. Hopefully this was an anomaly). Annoyingly a 20% service charge is added to the bill, which is about 15% higher than this wait staff deserves. Decent wine by the glass list, good cocktails with quality well spirits.
The bartender had positive excellent energy and the Jazz music was flawless. The ambience was elegant, lighthearted, mature, and very chill.
Rare you get amazing cocktails, I got a artisan cocktail minus the mezcal, we got chicken appetizer with the amazing cornbread muffins, and potato wedges, red snapper, and burger. Everything and the performance was fire. For 7pm you’ll need reservations ahead of time which is $45 per person for the show which doesn’t go towards your food/drink. The vibe is amazing service was great. Will come back !!
Amazing, amazing, amazing jazz club. Loved hearing Danny Janklo and the elevation band. Wonderful and cozy atmosphere.
An excellent experience!! I came here for a date night with my girl, and it was amazingly intimate and the vibes were amazing. The live performance was amazing, and the food is excellent. Definitely recommend the max and cheese, as well as the lemon curd chicken. The truffle fries are also exceptional.
It's one of my FAVORITE places. They switched chefs a while back, and I was so upset because the halibut ceviche was everything, but when I tell you the mac and cheese and burger is FANTASTIC is an understatement
Food was great, staff was amazing, drinks were good, and the prices were not out of line for California. If smoking indoors was still allowed, this would be the quintessential jazz club! Enjoyed every aspect of the place.
Be prepared for the neighborhood in advance, it is the Tenderloin.
Whenever I'm in town, this is my favorite place to hang out. The jazz club is downstairs, almost like a speakeasy below the restaurant. Restaurant. Just kind of have to know it's there. I've never been disappointed with the music or the drinks. It's small but often people dress classy to go there. If you go, please approach this stage and show your appreciation with the tip for the musicians who rotate in.
Great spot for a date night! Talent is fantastic although I’m always a little caught off guard by the price, it’s a high for the quality of food and service.
