This place is great. Small lounge hotel bar. It feels like a different world dropped in the middle of SF. Everyone is incredibly nice. Come check it out and see how nice it is. I didn't know this was here, 7 years I lived near by.
Phani is an incredible bartender and we had the best time ever at the Lounge of this hotel. Incredible individual!

Wonderful and attentive service, perfect drinks, and clean and cozy atmosphere. My friend told the bartender, Carl a general description of the drink she wanted and he gave us exactly what we wanted. Such a pleasant experience, will be back!
Carl is amazing. Can talk about anything from Star Wars to NBA playoffs. Pours a great drink. A great spot if you’re looking for a quiet respite from Japantown. Best bartender in the bay!
Love this hotel but the bar tender is horrible! Drinks are horrible and he grabbed top shelf for every drink without giving us a choice...not cool! I had to tell him how to make Collins mix....$45 for three drinks...hell no!
Update..I should have given an overall 5 star because this is my favorite hotel in SF..I only meant to give yje bar a low review...I absolutely recommend this hotel!!!
I'm pretty sure I genuinely embarrassed myself at this fine establishment since I'd had (a) drink(s) beforehand and was completely overwhelmed with how COOL this place is. The service was exceptional, everyone was nice, and the drinks were stiff. I'd love to go back! Now if only I could find their equivalent of a Neville Longbottom and steal his written list of all the next passwords...
Nice small lounge in the hotel. Great place to park yourself after a long day of meetings to relax and just chill. Carl is a very knowledgeable and attentive server!
Was here for a friend's birthday party and it was excellent. It's a "locals" type of place and is in a scenic area of San Francisco. The staff were friendly and competent. Although they really didn't do coat checks, the desk clerk held my coat with no problem. The buffet food was decent and the wine was very good. Parking is extremely limited but it's served by Muni. It's an older place so it's really to their credit that there was no musty smell.
Carl is the best bartender ever! He suggested drinks since I didn’t know what I wanted and his concoctions came out perfect! Couldn’t have asked for better service. Thank you Carl!
