Gem of a course. Especially for residents—great course, great pro shop, decent bar and beautiful location.

The Presidio Golf Course and Clubhouse was the perfect venue for our holiday party! Planning was a breeze, thanks to Tracey (their Director of Sales, Food and Beverage) and her awesome team. The clubhouse was decorated perfectly for the holidays and they accommodated our every need with genuine good nature and a smiling face. We drank great cocktails at the bar and enjoyed both passed and stationed hors d'oeuvres. The carving station with prime rib and pork loin was a huge hit! I wouldn’t hesitate to hold other events there, as long as Tracey or someone fantastic like her is there to take care of us again. The whole team at the Clubhouse made this party one of the best ever!

Loved the course - it was incredibly wet and soggy on the course, but the course was still in great condition! The soggy conditions helped me to a great score, as all shots stopped immediately on impact - even offline shots and slices.

Love the course - the conditions have been dramatically improved over the past 20 /10 and 5 years. As they care about the environment and have progressive practices I can play without feeling out of integrity with my values. Flat tee boxes for all tees - great 2nd set of tees designed for women who want a greater challenge and senior men who want fun ( 5700 yards). Friendly staff, and play surrounded by trees and the city. Yum.

Absolutely gorgeous views, interesting holes, well maintained. Also, right in the middle of the city! Weekdays are best, as it’s cheaper and relatively easy to get a tee time. I DO NOT recommend renting a golf cart unless you struggle physically with elevation. The zones where you can drive the carts are highly restrictive. 100 yards from the greens, and no where near “hills” even when they are not steep. (Usually it’s 30th) Wonderful course to walk though and I had a great time

Nice GC. Enjoyed the ambiance. narrow fairways. fairways are tough. u have to really follow through on ur swing. rough are 3x harder. tall grass. greens are slow, putt with intent to pass the hole. for this course suggest u leave ur woods n hybrids at home and just go with the long irons. gave it a 5* cause the course was well maintained and i like the scenery.

This is a very conveniently located golf course in the city, with plenty of parking and a very good driving range. I am not too excited about the artificial grass turf at the range, but, overall, as they say, the best course is the one you use all the time. And I do like the accessibility and convenience. I am also probably one of few who actually likes the fog and less sun. So, this is a perfect location for me. I have also taken several lessons here and found them all to be outstanding. I feel like I have improved my game here and I highly recommended this course, especially the driving range.

Not the San Francisco course I wanted to play, but glad I did. Pace of play was good for a weekend. Facilities and grounds were in great shape. Pretty good price for a bay area course as a non sf resident.

I haven't golfed in years but the Presido was a no pressure, great experience even for a novice like myself. My friend and I started with brunch at the restaurant inside. They had a surprisingly large selection of both food and drinks. Afterwards we hit the driving range and then the putting field. Seriously relaxing. I forgot how much fun golfing can be. This place is really great would reccomend for sure and I'll definitely be back.

Nice course with a very funny starter on the 1st tee. But I am a bit disappointed that it was difficult for us to locate a garbage can throughout the course. So, unless you are riding a cart, bring a garbage bag with you. Otherwise, bring your best game because it’s scrambling time.

Had a really great time doing the one hour golf clinic with Morgan Wright! He started us off with detailed instructions on grip, posture, and ball position. Then we each hit some balls while he gave each person pointers on our posture and swings. We were allowed to continue practicing hitting balls after the one hour clinic time was up. Really enjoyed the clinic and appreciate that they make these lessons more accessible. Morgan was responsive to questions and made learning fun.

Played a charity tournament, best ball. Unbelievable course, not overly challenging until you putt, pretty open, no water hazards really. They have this course in top notch shape. The greens are immaculate 😲. Very challenging putting made it a fun day when we finally made some putts.

Truly impressive course, facilities, staff and atmosphere. After living in the Bay Area and even in the city for a number of years, I finally got the chance to play here. I was not disappointed. In fact, I was blown away. Both figuratively and literally. This course certainly has some challenging wind but it didn’t take away from the experience. The driving range is well maintained and has some great mats. The only issue is it can be hard to find a spot on busy days. The practice greens are great. Well maintained and in really good shape especially with how much action they see. The club house has a warm atmosphere and the staff around the course are top notch. The course itself is stunning. It’s hard to believe you’re in the middle of the city. The tall trees decked in ivy make for a one of a kind atmosphere. This course sees a lot of players but despite that it’s in truly great condition. Equal to any private club I’ve played on. You deal with a lot of elevation changes, and side hill lies so it certainly has challenges. The greens roll true and are almost always surrounded by some gorgeous looking bunkers. It’s got a bit of a price tag on it, especially if you want to book out a few weeks ahead of time. So be aware of that. However, you get what you pay for and it’s absolutely worth it. I can’t say enough positive things about this course overall. Can’t wait to play it again.

Awesome golf course with great back drop of San Fransisco. A lot of elevation changes throughout the track thus taking a cart is advised. Played 1/31/23
