I really liked this place! Came here on a Wednesday at 7:30, place was empty but that was nice. Slowly a couple of more tables filled up. Nice light music was playing in the background, I like the decor and the place was clean. The waiter was very friendly and served us hot tea and water right away. The food prices seemed to be normal higher San Fran prices. So it was what I expected. And no surcharge! Which I appreciate. For two people we got edamame, salmon teriyaki dinner, lion king roll and love roll. That was enough food for both of us to share. Since we were sharing the salmon dinner the waiter had it cut in half and given on two plates of sizzled onions which was very nice. The teriyaki sauce was delicious. Salmon was salmon and nothing special. I liked the sizzled onions a lot. The salad and soup it came with had great flavor and fresh. The love roll was my favorite. I liked the flavor and texture a lot. The lion king roll was spicy and I didn’t expect that, I’m not crazy about spicy things so I didn’t really eat much of that one. It was a great dining experience and I would come again!

Ordered the Nama Roll from the specialty rolls and the Sushi Combination. Came out to $50+ for two people, which is not surprising for any dinner dining in San Francisco. I personally really liked the Nama Roll. I did not dislike the sushi combination, but I have seen other restaurants with 9 pieces (instead of 6 pieces as they offer here) in their sushi combination/sushi dinners so I felt $26 (or was it $28?) was a bit overpriced. They provide miso soup before the order comes out, which was a plus on a relatively chilly night.

Came here on a Wednesday night, atmosphere was chill with little people that night. Waitress was immediately attentive and was aware of my pacing throughout the night. Since I was only grabbing a quick bite to catch the train, I appreciated their polite and prompt service. I ordered the Nama Chirashi- it’s really a feast for the eyes and the fish was particularly of good quality that night, to my surprise, the salmon had a delightful sear on it that I really enjoyed. Overall a good experience, just a little expensive for the amount of food and atmosphere.

If you work or live near the China basin area this is a good lunch spot. Prices are on the high side but it’s nevertheless a good experience to go out and enjoy decent sushi.

The food, service, decor and presentation were all excellent! We were particularly impressed with dry ice/liquid nitrogen used to keep our sushi fresh and cool!

This was an unexpected gem. Went in at 6pm on a Friday night to an almost empty restaurant, but that's mainly because they have what appears to be a booming takeout gig. The staff is courteous and willing to accommodate requests. The food though, is unreal. Melt in your mouth fish and ramen that you've dreamed of. Highly recommend trying the Black and White ramen. And as an extra plus, the house Chardonnay is delicious.

It's a cute little place to have dinner with friends! I got the Sakedon which made for a hearty meal, and the rolls seemed fantastic too.

It is an authentic Japanese restaurant, they prepare the sushi on demand. I like their special rolls, dream gina, double dragon, their spicy ramen, the udon.. It's our usual sushi and spicy soup spot!

Nama Sushi has very good food, and good location. It’s pretty close to the Ballpark so you can grab a meal here. This place has decent lunch specials during the weekday, but everything is full-price during the weekend. This place is overpriced for lunch unless you get the lunch special, but it is decently priced if you’re getting dinner. The ramen I ate here was fantastic and was very spicy.

Sake Don (salmon sashimi over rice) is nice. Good quality salmon sashimi with big slices. Steamed shrimp shumai is also great.

I lived in this neighborhood for a few years and this was one of my goto places for Sushi or noodle soup (which is really quite good there). They're a bit of a ballgame restaurant if you know what I mean, they thrive because of the busy ball game nights, and the quality suffers a little bit because of it. For the price the quality could be a bit better. However when you're local, this is a lovely place for a sushi fix or as a nice and quiet date spot.

In the before times, this was our go-to for Friday night dinner. Sushi combination deluxe, two rolls, and a large nigori sake was just what the doctor ordered after a long week. Super friendly staff and very fresh, delicious sushi. Very reasonably priced, too.

Good sushi, great service. It was a nice dinner and really enjoyed, the location is great being close to the ballpark. Maybe they should invest a little more on redoing the decor of the place, it looks a little cheap and tired. I'd definitely go back.. hopefully to a renovated space! Good food for sure.

Not terrible not great. The price for an avocado roll seems a little steep to me. But the rolls are a decent size
