Great rolls, great prices, beautiful interior despite small space. On my first visit, I decided to get some avocado rolls and I found this restaurant. I paid $8.60 for two avocado maki rolls, each roll being six pieces. The avocado was ripe and the rolls were a good size. If you decide to visit this restaurant, you should dine-in. This restaurant does to-go orders, but they're really dine-in oriented. On a different visit, I dined in and had the chicken donburi, California roll, and mushroom roll. The chicken donburi was filling, the California roll was wonderful, but the mushroom roll was extremely salty. My total was $21.55 before tax. This restaurant has great prices and great food, which is why I recommend checking it out.

This restaurant is unassuming and amazing. The food is unbelievable for what you get and pay. It has a very quaint vibe and there is not music playing so loudly you can't speak with the people you are with. Please don't go, I like this hidden gem and want to be able to keep getting in!

The pricing is so affordable and the portion is great. The food is not amazing because it is lack of seasoning, it is more like a family japanese restaurant and the menu has good varieties. The sushi rolls is the best.

Fujiyama serves an Americanized menu. You know, the bento boxes, the teriyaki dishes and the sushi rolls etc. Tonight, I had an urge to get some saba (mackerel) ($12) and shrimp tempura $7. The food wasn't bad. The shrimp tempura had a good crispy and crumby batter. But the shrimp tasted powdery. The saba tasted ok. It wasn't great. I'm not sure why they served it with orange slices. Usually, I like mine a bit salted with some lemon and perhaps some grated daikon radish. I did like how they served teriyaki sauce on the side. Sweet teriyaki sauce served on top would have ruined that grilled salty saba taste. Service wasn't bad. I wasn't served tea or checked on after my food arrived as they were pretty busy. The food did come out in a reasonable amount of time. My tab with a large beer was $35 with tax and tip. I'm glad they were open and the little old women working is still doing it after all these year. Good for her.

It was good. I got House Bento Box (Beef Teriyaki + Combo Tempura + Sashimi + Gyoza). I thought the teriyaki sauce was too goopy and thick for the thin slices of meat - like it haf too much corn starch in it. Otherwise the Tempura and Sashimi and Gyoza was good.

Nice cozy place. Gets busy everytime I come here. One comment is Hard to find the place, because the canopy with the name of the business is blank. Just remember 1234 Noriega. There's metered parking in front and the chase bank corner of 19th ave and Noriega. That's how I found the place.

Locally owned, friendly owners with great quality sushi at affordable prices! I really enjoy their sukiyaki and they also have a three item bento box for a very reasonable price $20 after tax and tip includes teriyaki, sashimi, tempura, gyoza, salad and rice! Come enjoy!

Yummy sushi and decent prices. Nothing fancy, but good! The avocado in the rolls was hard; otherwise fresh fish and nice service.

Very fresh, tasty sushi. On a Friday night we had to wait a while to get a seat and get our food. But all done in a friendly manner.

Tiny restaurant where everyone waits outside In the cold to get a table. Wanted to see what the hype was about. Was NOT disappointed! Good prices, and good Japanese cuisine!

Combos are such a good deal! Beef sukiyaki + sashimi (with miso soup and salad and rice) only $12.95! Salmon was fresh & beef was flavorful and tender.

I love Fujiyama-Ya. It is such a great no frills Japanese restaurant with a ton of great offerings. The beef amiyaki is amazing and their combos are very reasonably priced. Their rolls are good and their sashimi is very fresh. The menu is extensive and there is something for everyone! This restaurant has been around a very long time and for good reason.

The fumes from cooking are too strong, but everything else is good. It offers great value for the price.
