We always have a great meal and a fun evening when we eat here. There are several dishes beyond compare and the Bitchin. Baklava for dessert is exactly that. It's not just eating in a restaurant; it is an event to remember with a full bar and belly dancing entertainment. Highly recommend going there to eat and also for a catered party elsewhere. The owner did a great job providing food for a large birthday party in my home ... about 80 people. Nothing but raves about the cuisine!

One of my favorite SF places ( and the owner is a personal friend!), but even if I didn't know her I would continue to go there, the food is yummy. My favorite nights are those with live music, either Mohammed Amin and friends or Amina's Pasha Band. My favorite foods, koshari, any fish (Samak) dish, and Egyptian moussaka.
Wonderful food and atmosphere, and Sausan is not only a beautiful dancer, but a lovely, warm and gracious owner/ hostess!!! I have the thrill of having known and loved her when younger, and she's still just as wonderful!:))
Al-Masri is a fabulous place to enjoy beautiful music & delicious food. The folks are very friendly & the performances are lovely :)

This business is a gem! I was in that area with family for dinner. Searching for " desserts " nearby this business came up. Only baklava? That's right, (basically) only baklava. Walking through the door you feel like you've entered another world, at least now during COVID-19. There must be 15 to 20 different versions of baklava available. And at 7:00 p.m. on a Sunday night most were still available. The owner/baker couldn't have been more friendly and was excited to describe different items. We picked up two boxes of 8 varieties. Turns out, if stored properly baklava will remain fresh up to 2 weeks. Upshot, if you're in the area it's more than worth a visit. If you like baklava I guess it's a must go.
Life-changing baklava from a unique neighborhood business. It will ruin you for mass-produced baklava forever! Do not sleep on this one, folks.
Large variations of baklavas but they are too sweet and heavy. One piece could be shared by 2 easily.
What a treat! such tasty baklava, I’m glad I wandered by this place and went in. I’ve never seen so many flavors to choose from. And they were all incredible!!
Amazing pastries and excellent catering/delivery, way above our expectations! "Baklava" is misleading, we had 7 types of savory puff pastry handpies (out of over 10 varieties), meat and vegetarian, all so fresh and delish, the best we have had by far. Highly recommend!
Nice & "meaty" baklava. :) Lots of sweet, strong flavors and a fun atmosphere! The owner went above & beyond to welcome us and we really appreciated it. We tried hazelnut, pistachio/cranberry, and pecan!

Susan offers a variety of high quality phyllo pastries. The storefront is an Egyptian restaurant, so I was confused at first. I showed up for a custom order with vegan butter and she had them ready first thing the next day morning. Contrary to the title, there was no b%$^@n at all. You'll only be screaming how good they are afterwards! A little sweet for me, but I'm a freak that counts carbohydrates on a near daily basis. If you pay for it in cash you won't have to pay tax. THIS IS NOT A CREDIT CARD CHARGE BY THE BUSINESS.
Amazing, deliciously and perfectly baked baklava, it's bitchin'. I was floored by the variety of them: hazelnut, cashew, walnut and like 8 more flavors. All of them have the most amazing flaky dough I've ever had. Next time instead of 20 I'll get 50, they're that bitchin'.
I ordered a subscription as a gift and the company was very accommodating. They spent a lot of time coordinating with me and asking questions about my order, even sent a postcard to me so I could hand write the recipient to let her know she would be receiving the order. They really went the extra mile for us and I am so pleased with the service we got. Anxiously awaiting the treats! Thank you, Bitchin’ Baklava!
