Really the only reason you should come here for is the vibe. The food quantities are tiny, yet expensive, and taste normal. There will probably be a long line just to order. They make your drinks right away though which is good.
The indoor and outdoor seating are all great and good vibes for working, relaxing, or chatting.
There should be easy parking around here. But yeah the line could get long (as in it takes a long time even if it doesn't look that long).
Otherwise service and stuff were good. Just not worth it for me since the food options were so disappointing.
Stable Cafe is great. The food and service are perfect. The coffee is perfect. This morning I had a perfect fried egg sandwich with bacon. If only Stable Cafe could be magically transported to a charming location instead of San Francisco. Stable Cafe is great. It's almost got a country vibe to the place. I love the peach trees in the backyard.
I also recommend the Smoked Salmon Tartine.
Oh my! I loved this place!! 😋
Straightforward and courteous service, an inviting and lovely space and the best part - their food and beverages!
I tried the Avocado toast without the cheese & the London Fog with almond milk - they were both yummy! 😋😋 My companion liked their matcha beverage as well as the egg toast.
The place itself is very pretty - with a lot of plants and paintings! They’ve outdoor seating in the ‘secret garden’ as well!
I’ll go back here on my next visit to SFO! 🙂
Parking may get tricky - so, I’d recommend going in here early.
Like many mentioned, great atmosphere for a quiet hangout/date. We came here to grab a bite after a dance class at ODC nearby. The food was decent and coffee was good. We shared a chocolate hazelnut croissant which wasn't really a croissant and more like a bun. It was like a Ferrero Rocher chocolate in pastry form so quite sweet but tasty. The cheese dill biscuit was very tasty, not dry at all but dense like a scone. The mochi muffin was also very tasty, not too sweet but quite small. My friend got a dirty (espresso shot) london fog which was yummy. I got a cortado and it went perfectly with the sweet treats. We sat outside in the back with covering and met some cool peeps. Good "vibes" all around.
The outdoor garden is the perfect spot for breakfast when it’s warm in SF. We had no trouble grabbing a spot to sit and stayed for over an hour.
You order at the bar and they make the drinks right away and give you a number for your food. The cantaloupe agua fresca was so flavorful and refreshing.
We ordered the smoked salmon tartine and the friend egg sandwich. The tartine was fresh and delicious, the herbed cheese was so soft 🤤. The lemon aioli was the highlight of the fried egg sandwich. Next time I definitely want to try the hot korean sandwich.
As a treat we had the choco hazelnut croissant. sooooo good!
Will definitely be back!
This place is fantastic, everything a cafe should be! The garden seating area is a little oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Service is great, food and drinks are top notch, made with care and quality ingredients. Do yourself a favor and swing by!
One of my special spots in the mission for almost any time of day. I’d venture to say it has the loveliest outdoor space of any cafe in the city. You must try it, grab a table in partial sun, have an iced tea or coffee, and order any of their delightful food offerings… avocado toast has lots of special touches. Just step up the the friendly counter folks and they’ll take great care of you. Alternatively you can opt for a quiet cozy spot inside upstairs. When you have that clandestine conversation once in a blue moon. ;)
Ordered inside and had options of sitting inside on the first floor or on the loft or outside in the garden. There is good wind coverage even for a fairly windy day. Iced and drip coffee were great. Would not get an iced matcha latte again as the proportions were a bit off.
I'm still a bit speechless with how delicious this cortado was. So smooth, full bodied, flavorful...every sip was amazing. I absolutely loved the vibes first impressions walking through the cute doors. Service was phenomenal, friendly and kind. Best chilaquiles I've ever had at a cafe; a really fulfilling meal for sure. I had a drip to top off the cortado and wasn't surprised that was just as delicious. The patio was such a blessing and what a beautiful day it was too. Hands down best cortado I've had in the bay so far. Let's see if anyone can top that! Great job, baristas and kitchen staff! Y'all rocked this visit for sure.
Super cute cafe with awesome breakfast options. Drip coffee was delicious and so was the lemon aioli breakfast sandwich. Overnight oats weren’t my favorite but still good! Highly recommend. Plenty of outdoor seating and a few tables inside
