Nice local family run restaurant with a good selection of meats and proteins as well as having a veg option. Menu is somewhat limited but the soup bases are flavorful and generous. No alcohol but you can bring your own and there's a corner store right up the block. Shabu selections are per table and are either individual serving or all you can eat. I've done the AYCE selection and the friendly staff are constantly asking if the diner would like more refills. Great local place for a casual dinner that will fill you up and leave you warn inside.

To be honest I'm surprised there wasn't a line waiting outside! Let's start with what I don't like about the place.. Parking can be difficult if you are driving. Not much of an ambiance, simple decor with 3/4 TVs playing news and sport. Sauce station is placed in an area without any light. Limited drink choice... if you ask for tea you are getting a tea bag and hot water. Now, here is what will make me go back again! Owner is super nice! Soup base are made in house, not from the greasy paste like some other places, very flavorful, you have to try the chicken stock made with goji berries and ginseng! Although you are not likely to get the real kobe beef slices here, you will be satisfied with the quality of the beef, a step down from the good wagyu, nonetheless very tender and flavorful! I love the lamb! Super fresh without any gamey taste/smell. The shrimps comes in jumbo size, love it! (Remember not to over simmer them in the soup!) Green tea icecream is very enticing if you have room left in your stomach at the end of your meal.

The AYCE is $26.99 and comes with appetizers such as chicken karaage and gyoza. The beef is "Kobe style beef", Their premium lamb and pork was the best quality either. The shrimps were the best .all the  meals is very good. They were big and plump. They gave us super big portions of the appetizers as well. The broth could could use some improvements too.  Usually I like to drink the soup, it was so nice.i will come back soon!

The beef is "Kobe style beef", it were the best . I like to drink the soup, it was so nice. We have been here for the second time. Although there are very few things, everything is very good and the vegetables are delicious! The fried tofu of their family is especially delicious. Miss Sister's service attitude is also very good, especially troublesome to her, haha, after the meal, there is ice cream, the pepper is particularly hot enough, just like eating hot pot in your own home. very warm! The boss is also very good, I am eating very late today, I am in trouble, I am very embarrassed! Service was quick, the meat is very good shabu house / ipot.

The eggplant in the chicken and eggplant dish was incredibly tasty. The portion was also rather generous - two people could probably share an order.

Sunset Shabu bistro Is the best meal I've ever had.The beef is "Kobe style beef", it were the best . I like to drink the soup, it was so nice. Service was quick, the meat is very good shabu house / ipot. There was no wait. The AYCE option is an incredibly great deal. Their Kobe Style Beef and other proteins were high quality and I must say, the Chicken Karaage was likely the best I've-- extremely juicy chicken breast meat. Great place to have dinner with friends over good music and live sports playing on their tv's

Why is it it you always find the best places right before you leave? Bigger and better portions of food than the local competition. The crispy sesame chicken is beyond stellar, the pork buns and dumplings were just as tasty! Great price, big portions and very convenient pick up window for minimal contact! 5/5!!

I went here for lunch because, honestly, San Tung was closed and my roommate and I were still craving Asian cuisine. We made it here on time before closing time. I ordered the lemon chicken off the lunch menu. The chicken took awhile, but I thought it was good. It wasn't deep fried, and they used white meat. I could have used more rice, but that's a minor issue. The meal also came with hot and sour soup, which had a lot of tofu. The restaurant itself is clean and the service was friendly. The atmosphere is very casual. My meal cost around $8, and I was quite full. So I think it's a good deal, especially in the Inner Sunset.

Amazing hot pot! Great quality meats and delicious fresh veggies! Amazing service. Not to mention, all you can eat for a very reasonable price. The staff were extremely friendly. Having just literally returned from the best hot pot in the world in Chongqing, China, I was thoroughly impressed and satisfied.

Honestly, not a bad Shabu place! Quality of meat is solid and the value for the all you can eat option is practically unmatched because of their unlimited side option. Yes, that includes fish balls, beef balls, chicken wings, gyoza, quail eggs, etc. all for the price of $28 per person. Not bad eh? I would definitely come here again.

Awesome for a casual meal or take-out. Food here is great; very fresh veggies and their chicken/shrimp is always high quality. Stand-outs are the crispy sesame chicken, spicy green beans, walnut prawns, but nearly everything I've tried here has been great. Big portions! Don't expect premium service -- dine-in is bare bones but fine for a quick, casual, low cost meal with family or friends. This place is way underrated IMO, one of the best Chinese spots in the area, way better than San Tung and never a wait!

Neighborhood takeout was great. Small mix-up with order, no one's fault, they took care of it no questions. I had chow fun and it was delicious. Will definitely order from them again. Server and chef were professional and genuinely friendly.

This place is not your traditional Chinese take-out place. There are typical dishes, but it feels like it's a little more modern and hipper - maybe because it's got Bistro in the name? It's still a casual place and I'm very comfortable taking my kids here. The food is very tasty. Service is okay, but they seem like they're there to take your order and move on - not make a connection with you.

Love their orange chicken, I would say their sesame chicken is my 2nd favorite and I really enjoy their hot and sour soup. If you can try to get their lunch special they offer a good amount for food for a fair price (~$8). I got rice, broccoli, orange chicken, and hot and sour soup for $8.63 today, can't really beat that kind of deal!

Our go to Chinese place was closed so we decided to try Nan King Bistro. It was delicious. Their sesame chicken is to die for, it’s crispy and delicious; and I can't get enough of the sauce they serve with it. Their chow mein is delectable with basil in it. I was surprised by their high quality of ingredients and fresh veggie options from garlic sautéed broccoli, green beans to eggplant. Their Mongolian beef if a little bland for me, but if you order it super spicy you get some flavor. This is a good solid delivery place.
