I loved it!!! It was great food.. great service...smiling faces ...very attentive!!
We loved it! The pupusas and platanos were delicious! Can't wait to come back and try the sopa and pan con pavo!
First time having the pupusas. Chicken and cheese/Shrimp and cheese. They were excellent! When it comes to waiting at any restaurant, we need to learn to be patient. The best food takes a while to prepare and serve. If you want mediocre, you know where to go. I enjoyed the food and the service.
Best pupusas in town and the rest of the menu is legit!
Delicious pupusas! One of the best I've ever had in the San Francisco Bay Area.
The food is great 👍🏻my favorite waiter always makes me laugh xox
By far the best pupusas. I go here at least once a week.
Las mejores pupusas de San Francisco sin duda, pero el servicio es terrible
This Salvadorian neighborhood family restaurant is exactly what it should be, a local haunt where great homemade food is served, and the people in the Mission know it's delicious. The soup and papussas were on my menu for the night. The hearty broth, the mixed vegetables and the chunks of tender beef is what you want on a cold damp day.
Balompie #3 is our go to for salvadorean breakfast. Service is always friendly and the food is always delicious. The food is an excellent value and you leave saying yummmmm.....
Nice spot for lunch. Had a sangria and three pupusas. My date had three pupusas as well and we split some plantains, which had a delightful caramel like finish. I ordered three different pupusas, and each one was a good quality for its flavor combo. More shrimp and cheese pupusa please lol. I think there was a little communication issue with the server because of a language barrier but no biggie. Drink and full meal for like $20. Can’t complain! Food looked wonderful too as you’ll see in the video.
Balompie is my favorite pupusaria!!! Ordered online for pick up Oct 4, 2023. Pupusas were made fresh, piping hot, and they gave us plenty of curtido!! We don't really eat the sauce that comes with it because we like our sauce spicy. However, they gave plenty of that as well. I highly recommend this spot if in the area. And on a warm evening, the parklet is a nice addition.
I've never had a pupusa before and my friend recommended coming here. It felt super authentic and I we got the cheese papusa, chicken papusa, and a tamale. Delicious!
Very much a no-frills, local spot - very well priced, fast service, and just like an felt authentic experience
Some of the best pupusas I've had, good size plenty of filling and the curtido and salsa was good, service was excellent, price was just right
Ordered casamiento rice with 2 pupusa and a horchata. Delicious.
The servant made our day she made us laugh and she was nice. The service was amazing. But if you eat outside be careful because there was man screaming and scaring us but overall AMAZING.
What's not to like. Great food great service friendly staff. And in San Francisco!
Great neighborhood Salvadorean restaurant. The mondongo (tripe soup) is amazing. Papusas are also very good. Their other specialties are the tamales and pastels. Nice friendly service.
DELICIOUS FOOD
EVERYTHING WAS SO GOOD AND VERY AUTHENTIC
I LOVE THE PUPUSAS AND THE SALPICÓN
THE PLACE IS VERY SMALL BUT THEY HAVE HUGE FLAVORED DISHES WITH A VERY UNIQUE SAZÓN
ILL TOTALLY COME BACK
AND I CAME BACK TODAY AND TRIED THE ENCHILADAS GUAUUUUU. AMAZING AND I’LL COME BACK FOR THE PANES CON PAVO
Definitely not a seafood spot, salvadorean favorites are delicious and well served. Tight space and the staff is rushing folks.
Some of the best pupusa I’ve tried with lots of different kinds
