Great tasting traditional HK dishes here! I have been coming here sparsely throughout my teens and now adulthood so this restaurant has been around for a while and for good reasons! Dishes are very flavorful and fresh. Highly re this place!

The clam noodle is SO GOOD must order! You can tell that the owner cares a lot about the quality of the food. I usually stay away from the meat stir fried but the black pepper meat was super tender

Hole in the wall with good dim sum restaurant in North Beach district. Judging from the celebrity pictures on the wall, this place must be famous. We came here for dim sum with a friend who lives closed to North Beach area. According to her, this restaurant has the best dim sum and most the locals come here for them. This place is not pretentious and they are serious about making the best dim sum. The people here are very friendly and folksy. They provide excellent services. Although the decors were desperately needing updates, the Dim Sums we had were HK level and they were delicious. Besides the usual dim sum items, they also make some nostalgic items such as fried Taro dumplings, water chestnut cakes, and thousand layer cakes. The restaurant has another door next to the main entrance for take out orders. I saw a lot of people come by to order to-go dim sum. Their dim sum prices are very reasonable ranging from a bit over $3 to $5 depending on the size ( not food size but cost). This price range is much cheaper than LA. The dim sum prices start at $5 a dish in LA. Parking is mainly on the side streets but it’s easy find a parking spot.

The off-the-menu salted egg crab + pumpkin is awesome! They’re super friendly and let us know that we’d already ordered enough. Not sure what the recent reviewer was on about them wanting more tips. They literally circled 15% tip on our receipt and there was not an option for us to add more tip…so I left them more tip in cash. The crab was only $65 and the two of us had leftovers. They made sure to change our crab-shell-plates and always topped our tea pot. The average tip in sf is at least 20% and this place is more than average

Great place for authentic Chinese food. Has a great selection of tasty traditional dishes, great for family-style gatherings. A few of the dishes are pictured below. We reserved 5 big tables to celebrate Grandpa’s 98th birthday. There is quite a wait in between serving dishes on a busy night, so prepare to spend a good few hours for dinner here. Bad instance during the party: the servers accidentally served us a dish that was not supposed to be on our preselected dinner menu, but we all didn’t know so we started eating it. 5 minutes passed, food already touched and partly eaten, the server came back and took the dish, not even fully apologizing it was not for us and proceeds to serve the same dish to ANOTHER table that actually ordered it, which was not part of our party. We were all surprised and shook our heads at how the restaurant didn’t make a new one for the paying customers that actually ordered it. Other than that, the party went well and the food was delicious.

Got the set dinner for 8 that included an entire crab and fish! No starches like rice or noodles included in the set menu but delicious food! Well seasoned, not too salty or greasy. Service was good, restaurant was steady as there was a large group of people next to us. Set menu comes with soup and dessert as well with typical Chinese restaurants. I forgot a photo of one of the dishes, and the lettuce wraps were partially eaten by the time I got to take a photo of them! Would totally go back again!

Dim sum is pretty good here, I haven’t had many problems with the food quality. The service is just standard Hong Kong quality, curt and straight to the point. It is much better if you speak Cantonese (which i do) but still can’t say great things about it

We had dim sum at this place. The items we ordered were all handmade and authentic. It looks good and tastes good. For a small restaurant this is pretty good. The outside of the live seafood tank could use some cleaning though.

Really good traditional Cantonese restaurant. Classic dishes with nice delicate flavors. Seafood is outstanding. Service is just like any other Chinese restaurant so nothing out of the ordinary (see some other reviews). Clearly a local favorite dining spot!

Came on Sunday afternoon, was surprised not a long wait! Waiters often available just flash them down! Food fresh, better than Clement streets dim sum. Parking can be challenging but what isn't in SF.

Dim sum were good. Got good varieties. The Chinese tea, Oolong, that we had did not have tea flavor. Drinking good tea is very important when eating dim sum. Overall this restaurant is good. I will recommend to friends.

Delicious and authentic Chinese food. We ordered eggplant with egg and XO sauce beef short ribs. Hot and sour soup, pea shoots, fried noodles with seafood. Everything came super quick and really awesome and friendly service with 2 little kids at the table. They even gave us complimentary mango mochi which was handmade with real fruit and custard. Perfect!
