I would eat every meal here if I could. I am currently wolfing down the kale/whitebean/chicken soup and it is amazing! Reminds me of thanksgiving dinner in a bowl :-)
I come to Harrow for lunch every chance I get. The lunch is so yummy. I suggest the roast chicken, the mac and cheese, the caeser salad, the farmer's market sandwich, the salmon, and did I mention their BLT?! Everything I've tried has been delicious. I don't like leaving my office most days, cause I'm not a fan of the nail biting wind in the FD, but Harrow is worth it. Jessica the cashier is seriously the nicest too! I call my order in before walking over, and it's always ready right on time!
Harrow, located near the finance district, is where I had ate some of the best salad's and sandwiches! Although the sandwiches are quite pricey, the portions are not only huge but healthy. The staff is very kind and the service is quick. I come here quite often, as it's only a five minute walk from my office. I highly do recommend you give it a try!
I've had two delicious sandwiches from here in the past few days and it's become my new favorite spot for lunch near the FiDi.
The two I had were the grilled vegetable sandwich and the salmon salad sandwich (a special) and both were delicious - warm sandwiches with good ingredients and sauces and big thick bread, packed up very neatly and quickly in a to-go box. My friend always gets the chicken (roasted?) which is an actual leg boxed up to go.
The line isn't too bad if you go off-peak.
Harrow is an amazing and magical place with some of the greatest food in SF! Secret tip: go up to the counter and order the Adam Mac n' Cheese fully loaded. It comes with jalapenos and bacon, and it is one of the finer delicacies of Harrow.
The only thing I've come here for so far is their mac and cheese. It's so good and totally worth the $10. It even comes with a side salad...balancing those carbs with some greens :)
Fast and delicious, but I consider some dishes to be overpriced for what you get, also not a huge amount of menu variation. Decent sitting area but nothing overwhelmingly special.
Their lunch menu changes upon seasons. Besides the mac & cheese, which turned out to be a let-down, everything else on the menu is recommended.
Fast and delicious. The right blend of healthy and flavorful. I loved the salmon and polenta.
Pork sandwich was awesome, bit of chilies and crispy and tender. Loved it
