As a new face in San Jose, I had no idea this gem existed right off of Tully! The owner, Big T is full of hospitality, generosity, and phenomenal food! The happy hour menu is incredible, all the seafood is fresh, and prepared to your preference. The staff were all welcoming and attentive and the experience was 5 star from start to finish.
If you’re a beer drinker make sure you ask Big T about his special 🍻
A cost effective restaurant! Because their menu is short. We don't need to drop into the choosing-difficulity symptom. The seasoning of the food is wild, violence and simple. It is not recommended to eat here alone.
Love this place friendly staff 🔥food and pretty cool and upbeat atmosphere. Definitely a go to place to chill and have some great ramen and seafood for sure. This review was long time overdue.
Everything was fire! Especially with no MSG or salt. Neither was needed. Latrisha was pleasant throughout and we like everything we ordered. THANKS!!!!! Fasho coming back!!
The happy hour menu is a great value! The 1$ oysters were fresh, the fries were abundant and well seasoned, the popcorn shrimp were meaty! I also tried the house garlic prawns grilled, the flavor and garlic sauce were amazing, but i may have to suspect they were frozen, but still very tasty. The service was very friendly and make me want to come back and try more on the menu. My boyfriend saw a giant ribeye at some of the patrons tables. We didnt bother to ask since we couldn't spot it on the menu, but the chef encouraged us to order it next time. Their happy hour is everyday till 6:30, just long enough for us to make it after work!
This place was amazing the service was great .. we got oyster shooter that's tasted so good with a hint of salty spice. the Dungeness crab fried in butter and garlic had so many flavors.. seafood platter in cajun amazing I got the san jose broth on the side that satisfied my chili craving.... spicy and wonderful.... I recommend the corn ad well delicious and there steak juicy cooked to perfection.. a must try .... garlic noodles so good as well...
In A Nutshell:
-Big T's Seafood Market Bar is the shizzle.
-We ordered a ton of their awesomely prepared seafood dishes such as clams, oysters, gewey duck, shrimp, softshell crab and cuddlefish.
-The next time we come back I'm going to order a tomahawk steak, which I saw them bringing out to other customers.
-Their draft beer selection is perfect, since I love IPAs, they have a wide-variety & they serve their beers super-cold in a frozen glass cup too.
-There are TV's all over the place, which is very cool.
Overall, the owner Tyrone is very friendly & we'll be back again soon.
Razor clams!!!! Nuf said. Eat here! They have better garlic noodles than Thanh Long at SF. Wow!! Those shrimps are crazy good. Coming back with more peeps.
Delicious food, friendly service and reasonable price. Had a wonderful time.
Delicious. First time here.. great food... weeellllllll worth the 2hr drive..
First time coming here and it did not disappoint!
Location: A bit hidden but there is a good amount of parking.
Menu: Took a little while to take in, so menu improvements could be made to help customers better understand what is available (thank goodness for yelp reviews/pictures with captions)
What we got: The seafood combo platter with 49ers sauce (spicy roasted tomatoes with a wine reduction). Good for 2-3 people. All seafood was cooked perfectly, but I did take the lobster, crab, and shrimp out ASAP to ensure that it did not overcook in the hot sauce. The sauce was so good, we took it home to cook more seafood in it! (Yes, it was still good as a leftover) Garlic toast was suuuuper bomb, I probably should have ordered more
Staff: Friendly and helpful especially nice since it was our first time, just wish they came by more often to fill our waters.
The service was good the staff all super friendly and accomidating and the food hot and fresh definitely going back.
A must visit place for fresh seafood, great laid back atmosphere, and friendly staff. A hidden gem.
Nice place , Happy hour has some ok deals the fried oysters aren't all that, next time I go back I'll try the regular oysters.
Beer was cold and the waitress was attenantive.
Like fresh oyster....yummy love this place.
Quick dozen with a pint and I'm as happy as a clam.

I mainly come here for the San Jose sauce. It's spicy but in a good way. Mix that with some ramenv and be done.
