Coming from East Los Angeles the bar is set high but out of all Tamales I’ve eaten The Tamale Factory are the best equal or a little to my Moms. And to top it off they make some awesome Chili Rellenos out of this world.
Best Tamales in San Jose I have lived here 49 years no one can beat this place. The jalapeno and cheese tamales excellent , the pork and chicken very moist the Masa is perfect.

The pork and chicken tamales are tasty but I come for the jalapeño tamales. They. Are. The. Bomb. Authentic tasting all the way but don't plan on dining there. You can eat there if no one else is there at the lone table. This is mostly a take out food place. Try the atole!

Let me be clear, you are coming here for Tamales!!!! It's take out only. They have giant pots constantly steaming their delicious Tamales!!!! The aroma inside is amazing and the taste is authentic! You can walk in and buy 1 tamale or buy a couple dozen. You can mix your dozen. I always get half and half. You can call in to make an order and pay at pick up. They take cash or card. Tips are welcomed. The Tia's are always working hard, and as you can see in my video with a smile. When I walked in, they were laughing and having a good time making tamales. Reminds me of my childhood. I was visiting my mom in Hawaii for November and it was an absolute must to bring tamales from the Tamale Factory. I also fully enjoy their Atole. I don't buy tamales anywhere else. That's the truth! Look no further, this is where you want to purchase your Christmas tamales. As a matter of fact, you can get tamales here all year long! Simply the BEST tamales in San Jose, hands down! Los mejores tamales en la ciudad, manos abajo! Are they cheap? NO. Are they easy to find? NO. Are they in a great strip mall with lots of parking? NO. BUT... they are the best tamales in TOWN and that makes them worth every PENNY!!! They could charge $7 each or $100 a dozen and I would STILL buy them...TE VERES!!! Pork, Chicken and Cheese/Jalapeno, my favorite. My only complaint is: What? No BEAN tamales??? Que pasa wey?

San Jose staple. Some of the best tamales in San Jose. Definitely recommend pre ordering online for pickup because the walk up lines can get pretty long and the Plaza that it's in isn't the best. But amazing tamales and atole every single time.

The best tamales around. Always so fresh and delicious. For best process order online in advance... There may be a line. If you're going to want tamales for Christmas definitely order in advance... they do have a cut off for that day and they stick to that policy. No pre-order...no tamales!
Pre-ordered tamales for the holidays and everyone loved them. Tasty masa and juicy pork meat. Not spicy but the red salsa is delicious as a add on. Great customer service too! Will for sure be back!
Definitely the best tamales I've ever had. The masa is so soft, you'll never want to eat another place's tamale again. Pork was definitely my favorite, followed closely by chicken. Just drive up, order what you want, they'll pull them out of the big steam pots and you'll leave happy :)
