I found this place through ubereats and I am definitely ordering/eating here again. I got the prawn curry and chicken tikka masala, one with naan and the other with rice. The prawn curry had a good kick to it. The flavor was not overbearing and, in my opinion, just right for someone who does not eat curry very often. It was perfect over rice because of how soft the prawns were. The chicken tikka masala was better than I expected. I think at every restaurant that offers tikka masala, you have a standard of what to expect and they definitely exceeded those standards and then some. I chose naan as my side to it and couldn't be happier. Two big thumbs up.
One of the best places in town for indian food and other delicious sweets! Love the way food is presented and served! Highly recommend it.
My husband took me to this place the first time and ever since we eat here. Try their buffet so many to choose from.
Best Indian food and dessert ever! Ive been to several places trying what's out there but this place has my heart and tummy lol. I'm definitely loyal to Jewel of India. Everything I try is spectacular super delicious. You can't go wrong with anything here. Whether vegetarian or not pastries and desserts it's a piece of food heaven!

Is something different for me and the food is good specially their bread Garlic Naan.
Love this place! Food is great, people are great. Definitely a regular spot for my family and I!
So good. My family loves this place. Their food is excellent and they are always so nice.
excellent food choices as you compare price, delicious and fresh.
Delicious
I always order the thaali plenty of food at a good price
Wow! Perfect portions and crazy delicious. Solid recommendation.
best gobi manchurian ever had
Great service and great food! Love nann
Got samosas from this place, was very good. The place is small, only 3 tables, max 12 people can eat at the same time. There were variety of sweet and savory, yet to try.

The parathas are too good. I tried aloo, muli and gobi paratha. All were super tasty, good spicy and not too oily.
I did not like the jalebees, they were not crispy as they should be. Also, I did not find it right to get charged $5 for a small bowl of raita.
This is one of the best places to eat in San Jose. I'm not saying that they are a 5 star restaurant that will awe you with their incredible atmosphere. On the contrary, they are a small unassuming spot in a strip mall where every dish and each person welcomes you in with comfort and genuine flavor. On top of that, they have an entire counter full of beautiful and delicious sweets.
I am not an expert in cuisine from India, so I can't tell you which region their menu best represents but over the few years I've had to enjoy this place I've noticed that a very large percentage of their clients are Indian. So they must be doing something right in terms of authenticity.
Thankfully they truly seem intent on spreading the love of their cuisine with anyone that walks through the door. The staff is knowledgeable and graciously patient with all questions about the menu.
Normally I would break down the meal we just had here but it honestly does not matter. If you enjoy Indian cuisine or are curious about it, come here.
Quick stop shop for takeouts. Me being vegetarian, am little picky about my Punjabi food and really prefer yummy gravy. Punjabi food is incomplete if it doesn't have right flavorful gravy. The right amount of gravy consistency with fresh spices takes Punjabi food to a next level. Will definitely recommend Bhaingan Bhartha, Kadai Paneer and Malai Kofta. Their Wheat Flour Pinnis for dessert is really good too. They are quite friendly to explain all ingredients when asked on Vegetarian menu Items.
Love the sweets from this place. The jalebi is the best. I also enjoy their lunch buffet.
Update: Their butter chicken is always good. I eat it as soon as I get it so no photos. Plenty of chicken and that sauce is so creamy and delicious. I could just eat that with naan and be satisfied.
Sooo good! large servings! Can't believe it's so close to my house and never been! Someone recommended and will definitely be back!
Best jalebis in the Bay Area, an old time classic for me.
It was good, though a bit pricey. Most of the food won't come with rice/naan, so it needs to be ordered as a side. Deserts were a bit pricey too, but they were extremely worth the money. Would go other time for the buffet, but take out/delivery not really.
I started coming here in high school been here dozens of times and they even know my order 90% of the time already. The owner is a kind respectful professional man. I have to say this is by far the best Indian Food spot I've been to! It's the first place I ever tried their food and got hooked. I've been to many different locations and although all delicious this is my favorite I feel as if it was home cooked. I've brought many friends and I'm indeed a loyal customer! Everyone I've brought loved it. I feel the service is fair but I don't have complaints about it I like that they don't hover over you the food is spectacular and the prices are reasonable! I definitely recommend you go here!
Neighborhood is a bit shady. But the restaurant itself is great
This food is awesome! I have tried sooooo many places and this place is the best in the area, maybe in the Bay. But I am all about GREAT food. I don't care about ambience or customer service. If your food is good, you have my business. The location is tight off the freeway so we get take out and I used to work nearby so my coworkers and I would order for lunch. And no, it's not service or fancy table linens that keep me coming here, it's the GREAT FOOD!!!!!!
Delicious home cooked food . Had some delicious paneer bhurji , dal tadka and ghar ki roti. You can customize the spice level and the service is quick and efficient. Highly recommend this place for a delicious no frills experience .
Portions are perfect and the staff is very friendly and generous. Food is delicious and came out very quickly. Pastries are very pretty and tasty.
True gem of San Jose. Good quality and tasty food with faster service. To go packing is great and do not have to worry about dropping curry or sauce in the car.
Love the korma. However, never ask an Indian how hot something is. For a westerner's taste, they really don't know. Order hotness level with that in mind.
I let him make it "normal," and it did not take the top of my head off, but it was pushing my spice level.
Jewel of India food is really good. And easy to deal with.
