Good food, friendly and attentive waitstaff. Love the seafood pancake and the kimchee is just right in terms of vinegar and spicy hot.
It is unlike any other Korean restaurant. It is clean, has friendly service, and excellent food. You can't go wrong. Highly recommended.
You gotten try this place! Everything's fresh & authentic! Great place to eat!
Small mom & pop place with authentic Korean comfort food. Black bean noodles with pork and seafood pancake. Fresh kimchi, and had to ask for other side dishes. Will come back again.
This restaurant recently changed to Danbi and this review is for Danbi. Had lunch here and the Osam Bulgogi is to die for.
This restaurant has been changed to a place called Dan Bi, and the review is about Danbi.
The food is really, really good. The meat is hands down the best part of the food. I got the kimchi fried rice, and it's been the best one I've ever tried.

Our go to Korean restaurant in town. Good food always. Love their home made kimchi.
Omg!! So authentic! So delicious! I can’t wait to stop by again from Watsonville, Ca! Their Kimchi soup is unforgettable! My daughter loved the ramen. My friend loved the fried rice. I am now obsessed with the seafood pancake! Try them all!
Pretty good. This may be new go to place for Korean food on the southside of San Jose when I can't get up to El Camino. My family had the pork bulgogi, naengmyun, chicken katsu, and the udon. Everything tasted good but there couldn't l could've been more side dishes.
Decent Korean food and one of the only places in South SJ that has decent soon tofu. Nothing spectacular, but this place is a good fix for real Korean food.
Went there for a late lunch. It’s a family run store and they are very welcoming. Love the Tofu soup and the bulgogi there. Been there a couple of times.
The food is served within 20 minutes. If you want the side dishes, you need to ask. There’s barley tea on the side if you wanna have as well.
The food is very homely and delicious. Love the soups. Nothing I tried was below a certain level. Great place.
Great food, jeyukbokum (spicy pork) was great. People were great too.
I found this place during lockdown and I’ve been coming back since. As a newcomer to Korean food, I got the tofu dolsot (crispy rice with vegetables) and it was very tasty with the banchan. The beef japchae is also very good. The owner is almost always at the counter to greet you and he’s very friendly.
This place would be a hit with folks from the nearby neighborhoods and students from Santa Teresa High if they offered lunch specials.
First time visiting, didn’t know Korean restaurant existed on snell. Fast food, delicious and very friendly.
Pretty empty place but the good is real good. About $15/plate but min wage is $15 so it's understandable.
Cute little korean restaurant. Staff is very nice and they get orders out quickly. They're menu isn't very big but they have all the essentials and a few extra dishes as well. Vegetarian and vegan options available upon request (bimbimbap, soon tofu, etc. Kimchi is NOT vegan or vegetarian friendly).
Yummy tofu soup and seafood pancake! Looking forward to coming here more often. Glad to introduce my husband to more foods to try
Food was great. Kimchi fried rice was delicious, as was the spicy beef soup. And the owner was gracious enough to give us extra kimchi...twice!
