Really tasty and well balanced food. Good quality and liked the ingredients. We ordered the Kung Pao Chicken and Veggie fried rice. Will definitely be going back :)
I've been coming here for over 10 years. This is the best chinese food I've ever had. Lunch special offers a variety of choices which are all delicious.
I love this place. They even make custom orders, like what not to put in a dish! Reasonably priced. Prices have gone up, no different than anywhere else. Still a great restaurant. Friendly staff.
My wife and I stopped by for dinner and we did not know what to expect. She ordered a vegetarian meal with tofu that was terrific, but the General Chicken I had was just okay (although I loved the presentation). We were happy with the reserved (but friendly) service and I think we will go there again when in the mood for Chinese.
Ordered for delivery and had a special request on two of the dishes (no onions) and everything arrived fast, hot, and just the way we ordered it. The food was very good, especially the Mongolian beef.
Really good food here. Generous portions. It's not a big fancy place but they know food and the rate the takeout packages were flying out to the door speaks to that. I had sweet and sour pork and it was crispy and lacking of that annoying hidden gristle some places try to hide inside the batter. Mine was tender lean cubes of pork. My son's Kung Pao beef was, like my dish, enough for 2 meals. Hot and sour soup was also perfectly peppery and chunky with all the goodies one expects in there! And again, after we ate our fill, and it was a cold day, we ate a lot, there was still enough left to pack up for later. It's a little strip mall joint but the chef still cooks he or she is doing banquets. That's fine with me! Little Hunan, Big Meal! Ho Mei Doh.
I have been ordering from Little Hunan for as long as I can remember! Of course I’ve tried other places and they are good but Little Hunan is the best! So when I really want GOOD Chinese food I get Little Hunan! And they deliver.
Decided to finally drop in for lunch after not going there for 15 years. We had an excellent bowl of Wor wan ton soup and look for to ordering take out. Excellent service for lunch.
Outstanding dishes: general’s chicken, kun pao beef, black mushrooms with Chinese greens, spicy eggplant. Our favorite in San Jose.
We've been customers of Little Hunan for over 5 years now. The food is delicious and fresh and ALWAYS arrives piping HOT if you have it delivered, unlike those other delivery services.
The food here reminds me of the Chinese food my parents got us as kids. I've been looking for a place with the old school taste, I am glad I found this place. Only bad thing about it is now no other Chinese cuts it for me and I must eat here~
WOW! This is a definite neighborhood GEM! Great Kung Pow Chicken, excellent chow mein, even better shredded pork in garlic sauce. Sizzling rice soup was a hit with all! Family owned local business that deserves local support and is worth a drive out of your way to try!

Very good straight forward Chinese food. Had to have Peking Duck. Excellent! Wonton soup was brothy and flavorful.
