Cheaper and tastier then Lee Sandwiches. A variety of soups available at Thanh Huong. Limited tables available. Floors and tables can use some deep cleaning. But I’m obsessed with cleanliness. On the counter next to the cashier, desserts are available. My friend and I ordered number 1. It was good, that we both said, “It was better then Lee’s.” Do you want a sandwich that’s bursting with jalapeños and flavor? Their rolls I believe is better then Lee’s. We’re already planning what to order next time we come. The second time around my friend and I didn’t have a sandwich. However, we did try their hot foods. We had beef stew, and stewed chicken, with rice. The beef was so tender and carrots wasn’t over cooked. I ate chicken too. I couldn’t tell you the name. All I can say, it was very tasty, It was enough for both of us. My to go place for quick, tasty and reasonable price.

Our go-to place for banh mi. Still going strong through the pandemic. I highly recommend going to this deli in the early morning, picking up one of their sandwiches (or lunch plates) to go. You’ll have a delicious and inexpensive lunch waiting for you. One tip: if you are not going to eat the sandwich right away, ask for them to separate out the ingredients from the bread. Also: the sandwiches are pretty big, so I ask them to cut them in half. If you don’t ask, they won’t do that.

This is a family run deli and quick togo meal place. The Bun Bo Hue and other typical Vietnamese dishes are done well here. They sell french bread, Vietnamese cakes and sandwiches. You can also order reasonably priced party trays of what they sell. Cheap and good eats!

Best banh mi. The bread is soft because they don't use the French baguettes. The pate is good; I recommend extra pate! Reasonably priced. If you plan on eating them later, ask for the veggies on the side.

One of the best banh mi in the South Bay. They recently raised the prices. Approx $5/sandwich, but fear not. The sandwiches are enormous. Literally the length of my forearm. So, still a great value. Cash only. Highly recommend the #1. They also carry other food options, but I come for the banh mi.

Good quality fast food for reasonable prices. They're open early so if you forgot breakfast or lunch and in the mood for Vietnamese food, you're covered. They have a wide variety of food, from sandwiches to home cooking style food.

As a Caucasian American my experiences vary greatly in small hole in the wall ethnic places - I didn't feel language was an issue (although I didn't give them a hard time ordering either). The #1 reason I go their is the Vietnamese Coffee. I drive 26 MILES from the Peninsula just to get their coffee. Brewed perfectly, rich and creamy (just the right ratio of condensed milk to coffee), sweet but not TOO sweet, they small ice chips melt nice and slow....really, they have perfected the coffee! Same lady making them for 30 years...she can NEVER retire :)

When I used to live in San Jose, this place always my favorite. Now, moving to Las Vegas, the owners of Thanh Huong expand their business in Las Vegas and also support our Den Thanh Me La Vang. Every year, we have a Marian Days in Oct, they always come and support us w/ Pate and sweet/sour carrots in the sandwich which always help to make our Vietnamese sandwich so stand out among others. They are so good. Thanks Thanh Huong Sandwich and you are always number 1 on our list of choices.

My fave place in San Jose to get stuffed bitter melon soup and other food to go. The food is tasty and seems to be made with higher quality ingredients at decent prices.

I give this spot a thumbs up. I will be bringing family next time. The bill was reasonable I would say. Feels similar to a restaurant in New York I loved.
