Went on a Sunday afternoon at 130. Not crowded. Order biriyani, fried rice and some dal. Everything was very good. Ambience felt great. They took good care of us. Felt welcomed. Seating is very limited. Like 15 seats or so only.
Chennai Kings is the best place for Indian food. Biryani, non veg curry and appetizers are too good.
Student meals discounted offer is wonderful.
I asked some extra alterations in Goat Sukka, the chef said ok and made that appetizers superbly served. Thanks for that chef's.
this spot knows flavor! I was looking for tikka masala (which was not on the menu) but ordered the butter chicken and was blown away. hearty, FLAVORFUL sauce with a generous portion of chicken. they don’t mess around with the spice so I would suggest spicing down if you’re concerned about that sort of thing. staff was friendly (my server was actually from South India) and checked on me often - offering water and asking how I liked my meal. also poured me the biggest glass of wine I’ve ever publicly been served. located across the street from the college, it might not best the best spot for date night but this place truly is a diamond in the rough for flavor alone!
Excellent food. Loved their chicken noodles and kothud paratha. It's authentic Indian taste. Dosa is also good. Masala is okayish. Service is not very good but worth the wait. Don't expect great interiors but quality food.
I ordered some Dosas and Parottas around 10:30-10:45 pm. This food was absolutely delicious and amazing. South Indians are the Gods of cuisine. Nothing comes even remotely close to their food. I will order again when I am out that way. I don’t know why so many people are complaining about this restaurant, I was completely satisfied. Nanri. 😊 🥰
Updating the review from 2 star to 4 star after recent restructuring and change of menu. They introduced new items - like idly Manchurian, cocktail samosas etc. and also improved the service. Paneer Biryani is my favourite.
OLD REVIEW: I have been a loyal customer since last one year but only thing consistent is the deteriorating customer service and food quality. The flavor of biryani has changed significantly and the customer experience has gone lot bad since I found the place. Maybe I won't be going there ever again.
We ordered ‘goat sukha’.... it was delicious.. one of the best goat dish I ever had.. this is enough for two people.. and best with parotas... highly recommended. Kudos to chef Nathan for preparing delicious dishes, managing kitchen and front desk efficiently...:)

We ordered parota and panner gravy. It was very good, paneer was soft and melting. 5% discount on cash payment is a good deal as well. Could improve on the ambience and restrooms. Otherwise, a very good Indian restaurant.
I felt that they have reduced the size of their dosas..
But taste remains the same..
Tried biryani here for the first time..turned out to be pretty good..
I have been a frequent traveller to the Bay area, n must have had food at all the Indian restaurants here,
I must say, this place tops the list,
Great services ... there are these two kids they greet you with a pleasant smile n are always on the toes to help.
Great quality ....excellent Taste ( all the chutneys u get here ...the podi the sambar..etc will make u feel ur eating bk home)
Yeah agree ...thts a small one ...but .. a great joint for a wide range of yummy snack.
They give u abt 13 variety of Dosas ... with unlimited repeats of any variety ...
I can blindly say ... u won't be disappointed.

Loved their attukal soup. We ordered idiyappam and it was very fresh as if it was made after ordering unlike the precooked stuff that gets served in other places. The parota was very well made - flaky and was awesome with chicken kolumbhu
