I never had a "Turon" before coming here.. and i think i just stumbled upon the most delicious thing ive ever had!!! Like a fried banana had a 3some with an eggroll and crème brûlée 🤤🤤🤤
They have the best Turon. Reasonable price! Their chicken empanadas are not bad. Decent customer service.
The turon here is expertly crafted, consistently neatly shaped and glazed, always crispy, and the filling of plantain and jackfruit is generous and well-proportional to the size of the shell.
What really makes the turon stand out here, as I said, is the consistency. It's a simple treat, but like all things that are simple, the attention to detail stands out even more, and they really take pride in their work.
Besides the turon, the chicken empanadas are delicious! I've honestly not generally been a fan of most Filipino empanadas growing up, but the chicken empanadas here are generously stuffed, well seasoned, and enjoyably moist.
After some questioning, I was able to learn that they stop cooking about 2 hours before closing, so that if you want to make sure they have what you want if you come any later than that, you should call ahead and reserve your quantity.
Always good and consistent. I love the Turon! The empanadas are okay. That's because my mom makes the best empanadas...but the Turon is amazing especially with black coffee to balance the sweetness 😍
While this place does offer regular filipino dishes, those are for catering only and must be ordered ahead.
What this place does sell is turon (a filipino banana and jackfruit eggroll) and filipino empanadas.
Thats pretty much it, HOWEVER, this makes it so these are their specialities. There is pretty much nowhere you can get better turon than here. It's just perfect. Not too sticky, the shape is perfect, it's crispy, it'd delicious, you should buy it.
The empanadas are good as well with a good meat to shell ratio and a nice flavor that's not too strong or savory but is delicate on the pallette but the real star at this place is the turon.

This place has been a neighborhood staple for over a decade now and deservingly so. Their empanadas are a favorite in my household but really it's their turon. Their turon is something to die for. Best I've ever tasted, perfectly caramelized and a heapful of saging and langka inside. As I write this, I've already decided I'm gonna get a box tomorrow morning

I love this place. My wife and I tried both empanadas and the dessert pastry whose name I've forgotten. The outer pastry of the empanadas has a nice crunchy outer layer and softer inner layer. It's lightly sweet with a hint of cinnamon. The beef (my fave) is a really nice mix of beef, onion, and a bit of potato, very well spiced. Flavor wise, it reminded me a lot of Porto's potato balls. Sorry if it's poor form to compare one restaurant to another, but that's what my wife and I agreed it reminded us of. The chicken is also quite good. My first thought tasting it was that this must be what phillipino chicken pot pie tastes like. The final pastry (forgot the name) is my wife's favorite. It has a sweet honey eggroll type pastry and warm banana inside. Literally the perfect dessert, to have with the empanadas. It's full of flavor but very light, which is good because the empanadas are very rich and filling. Long story longer, try this place out. Not only is it delicious but they are a local family owned small business. You won't regret it.

They have the best Plantain Turon, Chicken or Beef Enpanadas. Arrive before 4pm because they always sell out way before closing time at 6pm.
