Wonderful food and wonderful people. I love this place! Tacos have guacamole, everything is fresh. Good meat portion on tacos. I have nothing bad to say. Best place ever and I love them. I eat here at least once a week on my lunch break. Easy parking. Great prices. Also Creekside dining. Back patio is on the creek.

As a taco lover, this was a delight. Carne asada didn't have a ton of flavor but with the and the green sauce it was great. The chips were yummy, light and crispy. The BBQ adobado street taco was tasty. Loved eating on the patio overlooking the creek area and busy shopping area.

Haven't had anything I don't like from here yet and they are seeing me 2 or 3 times a week since I moved so close. Consistently good and quick food with friendly staff I would highly recommend. I get my post mountain bike ride nachos every Thursday night here. Salsa bar slaps as well.

If you love Tortas like I do they have amazing tortas but all their food is authentic... This place is a must!

The only place with menudo! Drove almost everywhere around 10pm and no one had it or they were closed. Good place to go too. Unfortunately they didn't have cabeza or lengua because of the areas demographics. We also got tacos de asada

Food is consistently good here. My personal favorite is the solo burrito.

The workers here are AMAZING! Tonita's is a family owned business and everyone there is friendly, humble, and kind. The food was excellent. I ordered the California Burrito (vegetarian style) and a Large Horchata and it was all good! The salsas are homemade and flavorful. One of the few Mexican food spots in SLO that you need to try!!

Great little place to sit and enjoy some great Mexican food while sitting next to the creek. Food is delicious and the portions are generous. The folks that run the place are friendly and always have smile for you. My wife and I eat there often when errands take us to SLO. The food is great but the patio really makes it a wonderful place to eat outdoors. You have a great spot under the huge sycamore trees while listening to the babble of the creek below. The children's museum is across the creek so you get to hear those happy sounds too. Highly recommended. Go. Eat. Enjoy!

Great little place in SLO to get authentic, homey Mexican food. This place is legit. Their burritos are packed and flavorful, same for the tacos, and the horchata is fantastic. As some have said, sometimes the front counter workers aren't always the most friendly, but they're decently nice people, and the food is great.

First time eating here in 13 years. Delicious bite of instant nostalgia. The adobado burrito was great.

The only authentic Mexican flavors in San Luis county? I looked hard, far, and wide, and this is THE spot. So many saucey meats packed into FAT burritos, and the chips crisped to perfection. Kind of expensive, but I loved the people that run the place so no hard feelings on that front. Worth it! Hidden gem. That said, I never saw the "drunk rush", as I'm more of a luncheon kinda guy. So I missed a whole scene. Drunk people have good taste apparently...

Don't know why this place only has 3.5 stars. It's a great alternative to fast food for a late night bite. The ladies are so sweet and the back patio is cute and quaint. I got a huge California burrito for $8 and it was delicious. The fries were crispy, the chicken was good, and the guacamole tasted super fresh. It's not really authentic but it's good.

This is one of the very few Mexican Restaurants I enjoyed in SLO. It has very authentic taste/seasoning and food. I got an order of nachos and an order of the tacos. Would recommend to try it!
