So we all know what Taco Bell is, you don't go there because it's the best food around, you go there because it's quick and easy. This isn't a critique of Taco bell in general, but specifically this Location. This is the worst Taco bell I have ever been to. One would have thought that since there is no drive through that the in-store customers would be ignored less than in other locations. That is not the case. You can stand in front of the register for hours without having anyone so much as glance in your direction.... just go to the kiosk. Once you place your order plan on waiting at least a half hour. This store is near a location where I often have to work. The first few times I went there I thought maybe it was just just a bad day, they were short-staffed or something. I went there several more times and it was always the same. At least 30 minutes to get my simple order of two burritos and a drink. It always seems it is the first day for all the employees. They seem to be looking up at a screen to see the instructions to make each Item, stopping to look at the screen to confirm each step. Eventually I realized that there are 3 Mexican restaurants within a few blocks and it is actually faster to go to a real restaurant than to go to this Taco bell, so I stopped going during the day. Unfortunately, I work late sometimes and this is the only thing open. Edit: Something happened the last month or so, but the last few times I went there, things were completely different. I placed My order Via the Mobile app as I was leaving work, and it was there waiting for me when I arrived at the store, the staff was purposefully moving around making food and taking orders, actually acknowledging customers waiting in the lobby... amazing, everything was working as it should, so I change it from 1 to 4 starts.

Jeremy (cashier) was super chill, honestly great service. He should be a car sales person. give this man a raise. Not from here but will be back for him.

Does this place takes long? Yeah but then, what did I expect for a Saturday late night. Food was great, the experience inside the restaurant as we waited no so much, and not because of the employees, but because of all of the entitled college students. Some of y’all have never worked fast food and it shows, kinda disappointed that those would be professionals some day, fix your morals and your ethics. It was very upsetting to witness how employees were constantly being called names and someone even used a slur. To the manager of this location, you need to start putting all those entitled kids on check, they can’t be disrespecting your employees like that.

Hardest working Taco Bell in America. Dish out great food while 2000 college kids get their food while treating the employees like crud. Keep it up SLO taco bell and the new guy you have at the front register is amazing and made me feel very welcome

I absolutely loved my visit, best Taco Bell I've ever been to! The food was amazing, hats off to this talented cook! He was so cool and welcoming. I will be eating at this Taco Bell whenever I can. I'll proudly bring my whole family next time!
