Loved Mojave! Dinner was great. We swapped bites and determined the Shrimp and Grits was best dish of the night, not to say the others were any less outstanding.
The drinks were strong, delicious, and different from the normal drink menu options. I loved my whiskey cobbler drink but be warned, the cup gets sticky as it sweats.
The staff was very nice and knowledgeable. They all check in on us periodically which was nice.
The appetizers were timely and the food came just after we cleared the plates 👌🏾.
We went around 530/6pm which seemed like the best time as the restaurant traffic picked up dramatically as we were finishing dinner.
Will definitely be back!
I always saw this place driving by, and decided to make a reservation to see and taste the dinner service. We waited some time for drinks, but they were excellent and creative. My server, Ripley, was sweet and delivered us hot food. The manager on duty, Mike, was very reassuring to our needs. The food was excellent. We tried the guacamole and salsa, fantastic. My friend had the steak tacos and I had the steak salad, both amazing options. A great experience.
Wish there was a way to rate 4.5 ⭐. Because it's not a 4 nor 5 ⭐. The service and atmosphere was GREAT. However for me the overall experience was over shadowed by the food prices. The food was definitely delicious. Just not much on portions for the prices. I enjoy leftovers and being able to take some home besides desserts to go. 🤷🏼♂️ There were several large parties from birthday to prom celebrations. We had reservations and were seated promptly even with the crowds. I'd without a doubt highly recommend Mojave.
I frequented this establishment for brunch on a calm Saturday morning, no wait or crowd. Overall, I enjoyed myself, the food and my mimosa which was perfect. Free parking as well as valet is available and I’d return when I’m in the area. I ordered salmon croquette with a side of fruit, everything was DELICIOUS and my fruits were SWEET☺️. Our waiter was pleasant and very knowledgeable about the menu, he gave great suggestions !
Not a bad neighborhood hangout spot, tucked in by 285 and Powers Ferry Road. Food came out rather quickly, which was a plus. The corn bisque and blue corn bread were rich and tasty. Our whole roasted fish was well done. My friend's lamb chop looked delicious. I did not give it a 5 star because it did not make me feel like - wow, so good.
Pros: beautiful atmosphere/ambiance, outdoor and indoor seating options, food came out very quickly, food and drinks were pretty good, and menu item were moderately priced (for the most part)
Cons: no true “cons” but the food came out suspiciously fast. Our food came out within 10 to 15 minutes of ordering and our dishes weren’t hot, just warm, which leads me to believe several of the items probably aren’t prepared fresh to order, but the dishes still tasted good.
Overall good food and environment and I would return but during a different time of the day to experience the different menus (we went for dinner).
*forgot to take a picture of the sangria* which was delicious by the way
Saturday went for brunch! Seated quickly. The food was 10/10 would recommend! Our waitress was great and she recommended food for our little ones. We did have to send fruit back bc of a piece of hair but it was quickly replaced.
