Pizza was phenomenal! Ordered a half veggie and half buffalo chicken, with a Rafaels Salad. Everything was fresh and super flavorful. The veggie pizza had a good sauce and generous on the veggies. The buffalo chicken was generous with the chicken and had a great zesty flavor to the sauce.
The CRUST!! Wow, I was a huge fan of the dough and crust. The crust was airy but crunchy all at the same time.
The cashier/server whom the cooks called "Mateo" was great! Helpful, funny, interacted super well with the customers.

UPDATE:
As promised, I gave Rafael's another try today, 10/9/21. I called it in and ordered the same pizza well done. It was accurate and made promptly. I received a text again once it was ready and pick up was quick. As notes on my last reveiw, overall the pizza was good and it was even better this time around. Definitely recommend Rafael's. Updated photo included as well.

Okay, so I dont like writing bad reviews on small businesses unless it's absolutely warranted. 3 stars isn't what I consider bad, but I'll give them another try and update me review after my next visit.
Flavor was good, I ordered online and there was no where to add comments and I usually like my pizza well done. I will call it in next time and ask for it to be made well done.
Service was prompt and pick up time was accurate. I also liked that they sent me a text notification when my order was ready. Nice touch!
Location was great, inside it looked very clean and I could have probably ordered and eaten my pizza there as they had a TV with the game on and plenty of seating available.
Lastly, the reason for my 3 stars. I order a large, half pepperoni w/sausage and half pepperoni, pineapple and jalapenos. I double checked my order confirmation to verify. Unfortunately, they forgot the jalapenos. Like I noted above, I'll order again and update my review if it's accurate next time.
I also ordered a small cinnamon sticks, they were delicious!
Ordered delivery. Food arrived early, hot, and the driver was friendly and confirmed each item. The sauce isn't my favorite (too tomato paste-y) but very good pizza otherwise.
The pizza was really good. The crust was crunchy, and the toppings were big. Pizza was a solid 9. Small diner area and was a weird atmosphere. The prices are high. 2 pizzas cost around $70.
In town for a sporting event with family. Ordered a large half pepperoni / extra cheese pizza and cheese stuffed knots. We had it delivered to our hotel room. They were fast, the food was hot and we think it is one of the best pizzas we’ve ever had. The knots are a must have. Had to come leave a review!
Really gooooood! We loved it! We asked for a Hawaiian pizza 🍕 without ham and bacon (sorry we are vegetarian) and they prepare our version with a tons of pineapple and was amazing! The custard is perfect, the taste the tomate sauce.

Ordered food online. Got text confirmation that it was ready as I pulled into the parking lot so their cooking time was accurate. Ordered two mediums that are closer in size to typical large in my experience. Pizza was delicious and staff was friendly. Plenty of parking. No complaints!
Causal pizza place offering a calzone pit stop visit for single diners not wanting a whole pizza. I had eaten here once before, but it had been many years. The calzone was good and, while cooked, could have remained in oven a little longer to fully melt inside cheese. The cost is a little on the expensive side, but not excessive by any means or out of the ordinary for the stand alone business not efficiently streamlined as would be found in franchise chains. For those looking for a pizza place with a hearty fresh tomato marinara, this is a good spot, though the sauce could use some additional spices of garlic and cayanne pepper for my personal preference. Service was fast from time of order, so those in a time crunch, this could also be a good choice.

Not from around here and decided to give them a try. Was not disappointed at all. The crust is nice and chewy. Try the Pastrami pizza, it is great. Wings were awesome too. Give this place a try if you haven't been here.
It's just a little pizza place with good pizza. Their Cinnamon Stix are bomb though.
Benissimo! 🤌 If you like good pizza, this is the spot. I worked pizza in my past and I remember how much dedication our owner had into making a good pie. So whenever I get a chance to try a new pizza place I am always critical. Is the cheese good? Is the crust done well? How about the sauce? Quality of toppings?
Rafael’s Pizza in Santa Ana meets all these criteria. I was blown away the first time I picked up one of their specialty pizzas. The cheese is good quality. The dough is amazing the sauce is just right and the toppings are high quality. They have a great selection. The staff are very friendly and it’s an easy place to hang out and have lunch or dinner.
