Truly amazing food. Traditional. Authentic. Delicious! Great service as well.
A cute, small corner restaurant with great food and a great environment. Can have somewhat lengthy wait times (personal experience is between 30 minutes- 1 hour). Once seated, they serve chips with mole while you can enjoy some live music. Handmade tortillas were given with all the dishes we ordered. Service was pretty quick, corteous, and efficient. The food was all flavorful and freshly made.
Parking is very limited, and parking tickets are quickly enforced if you park in the wrong area on the street.
Love the look of the restaurant. Authentic to culture. I expected a bit more flavor to the tlayuda that I ordered but it was good and filling and tons of cheese. The mole sauce was good as well and I am not a mole fan at all. Very tasty and goes well as a dipping sauce for the tlayuda. Dessert was also yummy- tres leches. Super glad we tried this spot out. Yummy vegetarian empanada plate as well! Thanks
One of my favorite spots to visit. Service is top-notch. Authentic Oaxacan food. They have live music and excellent Tlayudas. The fish in banana leaf is my go-to. Parking is a bit tough because they have a small lot, so make sure to carpool. Worth the visit.
Have you ever craved that authentic homemade enchiladas that your mother would make, you know the kind of recipe her ancestors passed down? Well if you answered “YES!” or “SI!” Then this is your Anthony Bourdain type of destination! Enchiladas so delicious you’ll probably eat too many!
The place is small but has a nice atmosphere. There is limited parking and the food was okay nothing really blew me away but great prices.
It was my first time coming here. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly. A guy came in shortly after we got there and he started singing. He took some requests from us. He sang really well and it set the mood. Unfortunately, I live really far away otherwise I'd be coming here more often.
First time going to Casa Oaxaca, we took our mom for her birthday
Overall, the experience was amazing 🤩 drinks were tasty, staff was incredibly friendly, the live music was a bonus that we weren't expecting. The best part was the food, exceeded my expectations
Beautiful ambience, live music, and the most courteous staff. Oh and the food was delicious! It was our first time trying Oaxaca and the staff explained everything to us. We had the la tentacion platter. A great introduction. 10/10 would recommend to anyone, you won't be disappointed.
This was the first time I tried Oaxacan food, and it was definitely quite delicious. The service here definitely stands out for being a pretty small joint. It wasn’t busy when we went, and they treated us first class. The ambience is very traditional looking. Can’t say for certain since I’ve never been to Oaxaca, but it has a very down to earth vibe. My only complaint is that it’s a tad bit dirty, but it really is no big deal. I’m just being nit picky at this point. You go for the food anyway right?
Tried molé for the first time and it was good. Didn’t really know what to expect, or what actual traditional mole tastes like, but I think it was a great first experience. We got the platter so we could try a little bit of everything, and it did not disappoint! We also got the churro for dessert, and that caramel filled churro was extremely satisfying. Crunchy and the outside warm and soft on the inside, for a wonderful mouth, feel, and a great way to finish off the meal.
I love the staff they are very friendly and welcoming! The food is very delicious you won't regret it! Very affordable prices for the quality of the food! Me and my wife love coming here! 😄😋
