i love the way claim jumper makes me feel after a long day of eating blubber. i have to eat 4 plates of blubber every hour in order to sustain my immune system. even though the doctors say there is no way eating this much blubber will fix my body and is not helping to keep me alive, i continue to eat the blubber because it is the only thing i know how to do. each day is a miracle as i spit in the face of god and modern medicine by continuing to breathe. i use claim jumper as a little treat to reward myself for having swallowed all the blubber i must consume in order to function as a human being. when the last plate of blubber is finished for the day is done i sprint to my car grinning wildly and drive to claim jumper at an extremely dangerous speed for the high traffic volume neighborhood i live in. i live for claim jumper. i would die for claim jumper but will probably die because of my horrible immune system or because of the many horrible diseases i have contracted from swallowing so much raw blubber. this is a very good restaurant and when my family is willing to be on speaking terms with me again i will take them there and we will undo all wrongs of the recent past. i am excited to see what new menu items claim jumper has to offer in the new year.

The food was really, really good. We were both impressed. We hadn’t been in years! The Cowboy bacon was insane! The calamari, really yummy and the cowboy ribeye melt in your mouth goodness. We’re still working on the incredible chocolate mother lode cake!!

I don’t understand what some of these reviewers are talking about. We’ve never had a bad meal at Claim Jumper. Food is consistently good. Wait staff Is helpful. Portions are large. CJ is casual dining. If you want upscale go to an upscale restaurant and pay double the money.

Great place for lunch, dinner. Excellent food and service, affordable. Good array of "comfort" food.

Just another awesome experience at Claim Jumper. We typically have a good experience and this was no different. The casual, rustic dining experience in a well-kept and extra clean environment makes for a relaxing end of day meal. The entrees (Shrimp, Grilled Chicken, Lobster Mac, Chicken Tenders, and Pot Pie) were all equally delicious - but the Lobster Mac is such a treat. And dessert was just as satisfying with Carrot Cake and Strawberry Cream Cheese Pie. As someone who is not a huge fan of carrot cakes in general, I say in earnest that CJ's is a must-have. Overall, another great experience. Even though they employees seem to be short-staffed, they do their absolute best to provide excellent service. If you are someone who needs extra attention when dining, just go a bit earlier in the evening.

I would have given them a five star review, but due to staff shortages, it took quite a bit of time for everything tonight except getting seated which was within 5 minutes. The food; however, was very delicious as was the dessert. I had the grilled shrimp and the rest of the party had the pot pie, lobster macaroni and cheese, grilled chicken and chicken tenders. Dessert was carrot cake and cheesecake with strawberries. Everything tasted yummy. I was; however, disappointed to learn they are no longer part of Landry’s.
