My favorite place for huevos rancheros. Best breakfast anywhere. Love to share Leo’s Special at dinner time. Go you won’t be disappointed. Staff is fantastic!
Good food and drinks! Even though they were still serving breakfast they still managed to provide Matt with his lunch request; a vegetarian burrito and 2 margaritas each! Service was good!
We enjoyed everything great shrimp cocktail, chile relleno, carnitas plate and peach margarita. I definitely recommend this place, fresh corn tortillas great service. Right by the water. Found it in the local magazine, gave it a try and glad we chose this restaurant. If ever in the area were coming back.

All the food was spot on. Nothing to over the top here. The taste was there and it was great.
Flavors were good and food was fresh. Food also come out in a very timely manner as well.
Something I’ve noticed as well. I’ve been here a few times now. And they’ve always been pretty damn busy. Lots of locals go here and that’s a great sign!
The menu is HUGE. And in my opinion to big and probably costing the business $$$ but you know what? Take advantage of it while it’s there with the insane amount of options.
Will I return? Most definitely. I recommend this place for sure. Nice spot on the beach with good Mexican food. And they also have a decent bar. Go check it out!

It was a Sunday and lots of people at the beach. I didn't want to give up my free parking spot in front of the beach so I decided to order something here. The restaurant was packed and there was a line to order. I ordered the Carne Asada Nachos to go which came to almost $17 with tax and a tip? They were OK. I could eat the whole thing. So it will one starving gluttonous person or feed two not-so-very hungry people. If you order $15 or more of food you get chips and salsa no charge for dine in. There was a restroom available but I didn't use it. There is limited seating inside and some seating outside the restaurant. You can watch volleyball or enjoy people watching and the ocean view. Dog Friendly.
Its always a nice day to sit at Cafe El Palomar and have a margarita and ceviche!
they have THE BEST views, large portion sizes, and awesome drinks. The staff is always so helpful and quick especially for how busy they always are.
We LOVE this place. The food, service, cleanliness, and value is always superior. The views of the beach, lighthouse, sand volleyball whether sitting inside or out is always fun. We go multiple times each summer and each experience is exceptional. Love their Chillaquillas Rojas…but everything we’ve ordered is wonderful.
Been coming here for the last ten years, great food, kid friendly and good service. Chile verde burritos wet are my favorite. I also love the chiliquiles rojo. Great chips and salsa and homemade corn tortillas too.
Great view, great service, vast menu with options for everyone. The tortillas are home made and totopos are the best anywhere. Highly recommended.
Over all, customer service and hospitality was okay. The servers were great when asking about refreshments and chips and salsa. Our server was very occupied as it seemed she was the only one working. FOOD was served at a timely fashion and was fabulous. The seasoning was perfect, I saw no grease in my bacon which I absolutely appreciated.
