Great food and neighborhood ambiance. I love the outdoor seating and the kale salad is one of my favorites.

My first time, and I was impressed... I’m looking forward to exploring the menu. Art (the bartender) was very helpful.

Enjoyable evening sharing 'small plates' with friends. Enjoyed the simplicity of it all and the excellent service.

How nice it was to plan lunch at Art's Table. We were fortunate to gather some of our favorite SMC friends to join us. Marge (Verge) - the Cassells and the Roneys enjoyed a delightful lunch as we admired the design of the restaurant - loved the food as well as how it was served. Very friendly atmosphere. We miss Art but he was with us in spirit.

A regular lunch spot for me and my friends. Canopied outdoor sidewalk tables plus indoor seating. Good, friendly service, but a bit understaffed. Still, wonderful dishes, especially the lunch salads and sandwiches.

Went to this place for Sunday brunch, service is good. They clean the table again as they seat us outside, weather was good with sunshine. Price is reasonable, didn't have the add on fees on the bill. Good place to go for food all day with outdoor seating.

We came here for dinner. Most of the seating is outside, but we sat inside, which was perfect for us. I ordered the Steak Salad ( $22) which came beautifully presented, but the dressing drenched the salad. The steak was perfectly cooked. I ate all the steak! Next time, I will ask for the dressing on the side. My friend ordered the Turkey Burger ( $20) which was tasty, sloppy and a bit on the smoky flavor. She said she would not order it again. The curly fries were very tasty! We finished with a Lava Cake, beautifully presented, but it was the smallest scoop of ice cream on this planet! Very rich in flavor. Will I order it again, probably not. I will try Art's Table again perhaps for breakfast or lunch, but not for dinner.

What a great spot! Service was fast and friendly. This kale salad was amazing. Loved the manchego cheese on it. Great touch. The grilled salmon was cooked perfectly - seriously one of the best I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to be back and explore the menu!

The food was nice. One dish was Grandma's hash. It was a little bit over spicy. It came with a scrambled egg on top. I feel the dish would of been better with an over easy egg. To break an egg yolk into that hash would of been special! The second dish was a wonderful Turkey burger. The restaurant has a nice neighborhood feel to it. The Staff.... well the staff are not professional. When you pay top dollar you expect Pro Waiters. Don't get me wrong the staff is nice but nice is nice. And nice, does not make the food taste better.

🥂 𝐁𝐑𝐔𝐍𝐂𝐇 𝐎’𝐂𝐋𝐎𝐂𝐊⁣ 🍽 What we tried: ⁣⁣ 🍳 Egg White Veggie Frittata⁣ 🦑 Calamari⁣ 🍝 Short Rib Pappardelle Pasta⁣ 🐠 Scottish Salmon ⁣ 🥂 Mimosa ⁣ A perfect spot for brunch. Great food. Great staff and great spot. You can sit outside or inside. Both are great choices. The food is amazing. There’s a vegan option too. My coworker and I had a great time here. Our server was super helpful. We loved the calamari, frittata and Scottish salmon. So yummy. You just gotta try!!

We had a great experience at Art's Table yesterday afternoon for MLK day brunch. We don't live in the area and were searching for a brunch spot near where we were, and this place came up on the what felt like hidden local gem of the street Montana, which felt like the antithesis to what one might experience on Third Street. Thanks to Yelp reservations we were seated right away inside, when every other table inside and outside was occupied. Let's start with the coffee; I've said many times if a brunch/breakfast place doesn't have good coffee it has no business being in business. Art knows what he's doing with his coffee. It's richly dark and bold in taste, with no acidity and served in delightful ceramic owl mugs that are exactly what they seem… It would be worth coming to Art's just to get a cup of coffee. The only caveat with the coffee is that a cup costs $4. I've seen premium pricing for coffee when they bring you a French Press but this, despite how good it was, seemed pricy for a basic cup of coffee. There are plenty of gluten-free options on the breakfast menu including Johnny cakes, a cornmeal-based pancake that looked amazing (though we didn't have it.) And the dish my wife and I both got a version of , The veggie eggs, which is served with gluten-free potato pancakes topped with greens delicious portobello mushrooms that are perfectly cooked, and two poached eggs, topped with a wonderfully spiced bernadine sauce. The eggs were poached perfectly. The potato pancakes (and to be fair to all concerned if a restaurant that I've never been to before has potato pancakes on the menu that's all my body will allow me to order) were a little thin for my taste, but speaking of taste, they tasted pretty good albeit a little greasy, but considering the very nature of potato pancakes it's hard to complain about there being oil involved. In our "eye-vesdropping" that we did of other dishes walking by it seems there were other options which had more substantial potatoes and, again, potatoes of any kind will draw me closer to your heart. The dish was served with a generous salad that was tasty though in terms of volume, but visually overpowered the rest of the dish. We would definitely come back to Art's Table and try some of the other tantalizing things that we saw walking by (to be clear they were being carried by serving staff and not walking by under their own power.) The only thing which was a slight downer was our super friendly and cool waiter who seemed to really know what he was doing when he took our order and greeted us, but then never spoke to us again until after we finished eating and wanted to know if we were ready for the check. Again he was awfully nice but you kind of expect, or at least hope that a server will check in with you after you've received your food just to make sure that everything was OK. Everything was OK so we would've had nothing to complain about but it would have been nice to have seen him again before it was time to get the check.

Plenty of seating inside and outside. Full bar inside. Ordered the steak and eggs and it was the perfect proportion for breakfast. Service was good.

This is a great little spot in Santa Monica for a small and intimate experience. The food is delicious and great for sharing several small plates. The service is excellent and the prices are really fair. I recommend getting their Chicken Pesto Sandwich. It’s clear that they make it themselves from scratch and the pesto is delicious!
