Love, love this place. Great beer and really cool staff. Always a great food truck outside. Love my Sunday afternoons there. Great for group gatherings🍻
Great place! Good quality beer. Great personnel. And to top it off, in the best city!
The selection of beer was outstanding. The Cucumber Kolsch was surprisingly refreshing, but I really loved the Dark Tide, and Animal Style IPA as well as the Inclined IPA... great brewery with great vibes and a food truck!!
I was in Cali. Over the holidays. We went here after work. Absolutely loved this place, great staff, great selection of brews. Hope to revisit again.
I live in the South Bay but wanted to check it out. It was worth the trip. They have a wide selection of different beers (all good). Had food from Ahi & Limu which was delicious. Loved the bourbon barrel PCH. Lots of seating and staff was cool.

One of the standout features of Santa Monica Brew Works is undoubtedly their impressive array of on-tap beer options. From classic ales to innovative IPAs, there is something to please every discerning palate. The "Head in the Clouds IPA" emerged as the clear winner among the numerous selections our group sampled. Want to have a different type of beer? this is it... local brewery with many options and great flavor! The place is ample, they observe all distancing protocols with seating both outdoors and inside as you may prefer. Being a local brewery, you can actually see the actual machinery used while the bartenders help you decide on the right beer for your taste (samples are provided for you to decide). I say be bold and try something out of your comfort zone! will visit the place again whenever I'm back in the area.
One of the best spots in the city for a mid-west styled brewery. Great beer. Great sports. World class pizza. Also has a huge seating area and parking so you most of the time can find a spot with ease.

I was happy to celebrate Santa Monica Brew Works on their 9th Anniversary thanks to “Sam” who suggested this tasty and flavorsome IPA - it is worthy of a great brewery 🙌🙌🤟🍻🇺🇸
Excellent and frequently changing draft list. This is one of a small handful of breweries on the west side that I can count on to have *something* *anything* other than a menagerie of hay IPAs on draft, and for that, I thank them.
Service at the walk-up order station is excellent and they keep it moving without rushing anyone to make a choice. Their patio and parking lots are very large, but due to the aforementioned goodness, they can get quite crowded, quite quickly. Plan accordingly.
The best beers are the ones we drink with friends. So without further ado let’s do this beer review. Santa Monica’s first and only craft brewery. They brew California inspired beers for those who live the Beach Brewed lifestyle. Their Brewery & Tasting Room is located at the corner of 19th and Colorado. I came here with my buddies today (Sabado) after beach vb to chill, talk about life, dating and women. Cool time! It was my first time here so I was oblivious on what to expect. They have a wide and huge open front patio with wooden benches and high tables. Indoor was very spacious and huge; ambiance was very chill with two large tele hangers by the wall. Staff was very cordial, professional and followed health protocol. They have good selection of beers (IPA, Ales, 310 etc). Similarly, food selection was wide. I personally like Ale so I chose XPA. For food, I ordered a MacNCheese Chicken. Service was fast and prices were average. Free parking available. Overall, I had a good time and experience going to this brewery. And I highly recommend it.
This brewery in Santa Monica is huge, with so many IPAs and west coast style beers, you'll find something for everyone. We went on a Sunday and they had food trucks out there for hungry patrons with seating outside to enjoy the beautiful California weather. I got the lobster roll and a hazy IPA, everything I had was delicious. They give tours too but unfortunately we didn't get there in time. This a great place for huge groups, the beers were good and everyone was friendly, highly recommend.
I stopped by this afternoon looking for a bathroom lol and met Amanda. She was the nicest bartender ever and offered me tasters of a few super yummy beers and decided on the “head in the clouds ipa”. It was fantastic on a summer afternoon. Amanda’s knowledge and service was outstanding. Highly recommended this hidden gem in the Santa Monica promenade. Ask for Amanda she’s a doll.
One of my favorite breweries with some of my favorite beers! They now have outside dog friendly seating! I love this place. Come check out the beers, the space and the people. These guys are great and always friendly. If you're in the area, you have to make the stop - you won't be disappointed. 🍻
We are visiting from Arizona and our daughter and her wife brought us here. I've been back three times in the last 2 weeks. It's dog friendly and you can order food. Like fantastic food that goes perfect with the their 310 California Blonde.
The vibe is chill and very relaxing. I'm gonna try to sneak in one more visit before we head back home.
It was nice. The beers could have been colder. They have access for wheelchairs and restrooms available. It is better to have a reservation before hand if not you might find a line. They have food available from
The food trucks.
Had a great experience here on a Sunday for afternoon drinks and food. We ordered a cucumber kolsh and a pink lady cider - great drinks. There were two food trucks there, and the asian/mexican fusion was delicious. We ordered teriyaki tacos and asada fries and enjoyed them both. Their outdoor dining set up is efficient and felt really safe. The staff is very friendly, and they sell canned beers to take home as well. It's not required to make a reservation but you should to ensure a table on a busy day. They genuinely thanked us for making one so I recommend it to help them out. Hoping to return soon to try more drinks.
I only have one question for you… are you ready to have your MIND BLOWN! Get excited kiddos, because there’s a new sheriff in town.. bang bang! Head in the clouds is a top tier beer… enjoy sitting in the sun while you sip your beverage? These guys got you covered. Go there. You will not be disappointed. It’s a banger.
We had a great outdoor experience. Ordered flights and pints and from the pizza place next door, our pizza and apps were delivered right to our table. Pet and baby friendly.
