My wife and I stopped in to get out of the heat and have lunch. She had the turkey Po Boy sandwich and I had the fried chicken with house chips. Wow! The batter on the fried chicken was great and the BBQ sauce was different than any I've had before. It was great as well! The atmosphere was relaxing and there was no rush to get us out of there. I tried a vanilla blended coffee and it was excellent as well. They charge for each bottle of diet Coke though so no free refills. Our server Lea was great and very attentive. Definitely worth visiting every time you're in Santa Paula!

Stopped by for something sweet to eat on our way to Chumash. We were helped by an amazing young man named Leo who was very nice and courteous. Myself I got the honey brand muffin and oh my God it was so good. My other half got the peanut butter chocolate cake and really enjoyed it. I was surprised it blend in so well because usually buttercream is too sweet but this was actually perfect. This is probably our third visit to this place even though we live all the way up in Lancaster we love to stop by here for their great cappuccino and maybe a sweet bite and have even had amazing breakfast here.

My father-in-law rode his Harley in from Mississippi and we decided to bring him to Rabalais. He loved the gumbo and my wife loved the collared greens! Plus, Mindy our waitress was exceptional. We had a great night at Rabalais!

I'm hesitant to write this, if too many people discover this place; it might be crowded when I go again. A hidden gem in downtown Santa Paula. Everything is made from scratch and only when you order it. Want a cup of coffee? They brew One for you. A very tasty selection of breakfast, lunch, dinner and desserts. Want some fried green tomatoes, they have it. Portions are big and taste is even bigger! Stop by and Enjoy!

Wonderful food and excellent service. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're in Santa Paula. I loved their cafe au lait, corn bread and grits. Everyone in our group raved about their dish. It's nice for someone like me from New Orleans to have authentic Southern and Cajun food out in California.

My husband and I stopped for dinner on our way to a show in Oxnard. My husband had the red beans and rice with andouille sausage and I had the Arugula salad with pear and blue cheese and the champagne vinaigrette. Everything was fabulous and Jenn our server was very attentive. We also purchased a dozen cookies and they are amazing! A definite destination to stop and enjoy in Santa Paula!

Beautiful and clean bistro. Warm atmosphere. Kind and attentive servers. A perfect place to catch up with a friend. I had a chocolate peanut butter muffin that was perfectly cooked. It was moist and airy in texture. Not overpowering, but yet decadent in taste. The presentation was beautiful.

visiting the food and atmosphere of the 1920-1930 design of a well organized, and refreshing taste of great Southern-Cajun Bistro, pastries that are worth the visit alone along with a Coffee Bar much like a soda fountain we love it there. And very affordable as well.

We come here whenever we are near. Kinda glad we don't live close. We'd be here way more than my diet can afford. The food is delicious, and the service might even be better. The baked goods are too good to not leave there. At least a few cookies and scones manage to end up going home with us. We have dogs and they have always been more than welcome on the patio/ front porch. Always looking forward to our visits to the area because of Rabalais.

Awesome atmosphere inside and nice outside seating as well. I had an eggs Benedict and cappuccino that were both good but not great. Prices were not outrageous.

Just happened to stumble across this place one day, and wow!! What a surprise it was!! Everything was so delicious! One of my go-to places in Santa Paula. The service is always great, they have an amazing coffee selection using locally sourced beans, and a bunch of homemade pastries/baked goods (and even beignets). All of their Po Boys and Croques are amazing. The serving sizes are huge and the prices are fair, definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

We came on a Thursday night and it was very enjoyable. I literally teared up when I tasted the sweet potato because it was absolutely perfect. Everything tasted so good. Overall, it's a beautiful spot with excellent food and friendly service. I'm looking forward to returning and trying a dessert or two.
