Might be our favorite stop for food on our 2 week trip to this area. To begin, the employees are truly so nice and helpful. We were here more than once and each time this stayed the case. Offering help in selection, not rushing us and even offering other advice on enjoying the area.
One recommendation - Stop in for lunch and get some steamed shrimp with a side or two. Perhaps buy a drink or two from their well stocked cooler or wine/beer area. Take it over to the patio area by the lake and enjoy!
The shrimp we had, both the big red - simply steamed with their delicious cocktail sauce and lemon as well as another shrimp with the garlic butter sauce, were so, so good.
Fish dip great, grouper with blackened seasoning we took to cook later, hushpuppies. All so so good.
There is also another location in Panama City.
Highly recommend.

Nice stop for lunch overseeing the lake. Grouper sandwich was excellent and wife’s seafood salad was very good as well.
For lunch the location was not busy at all (most at the beach) but we were told it is very busy for dinner.
Get the steamed shrimp! Omg best shrimp I've ever had. Go here every year. Best fish, so fresh and that cocktail sauce , I could swim in. Go here! We purchased fresh steamed medium shrimp, fresh yellow fin tuna, fresh grouper filet, and red snapper. All were so good.
Do yourself a favor, go at lunch and get some steamed shrimp, so delicious! The new potatoes side was very good as well. And then, buy yourself some more fresh seafood to cook up later for dinner.
Also, if you're particular about ice, they sell large bags of pellet ice, nice surprise!
Just discovered Buddy’s Seafood !!! Fresh seafood choices along with options for seasonings , side vegetables and desserts. Our dinner was delicious!
Great spot to grab essentials and other things. Fish seafood and other items you would find in a convenient store.
Bypass Goatfeathers ½ mile away and hit Buddy’s Seafood down the street instead. The seafood selection, tuna dip and selection of complimentary food pairing to any beach dinner will have you blown away. They make a commitment to and huge effort to support local businesses, products and people and it doesn’t go unnoticed.
Plus the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly which so often isn’t the case for seafood stores. Buddy is hands down always a highlight to my time spent in 30-A and it wouldn’t be the same without their help in curating delightful seafood meals.
Staff were very friendly. Selection was great. Really enjoyed the seafood. Got shrimp and scallops. Potatoes were very unique. Definitely a place I would go again.
