Best. Doughnuts. Ever. The staff was very nice and super accommodating. The maple bacon doughnut was a tasty balance of maple icing (not too sweet) and bacon that added a light salty flavor on top of a soft pillow of doughnuty goodness. The chocolate sea salt was also delish. The chocolate was not too sweet and the sea salt was a lovely accent. Well worth getting up early and making an hour drive. Thank you, Stephanie for making our trip worthwhile and a tasty one!! You rock!! BTW the chai latte was superb!! Kudos to the baristas.

Hands down best doughnut shop ever! The most amazing doughnuts, great coffee and teas with an awesome atmosphere! The nicest owner too! This place has it all, if you haven’t tried a doughnut from here you are so missing out, they will change your life!!! Top quality ingredients make these the most delicious treats! The Whiskey Caramel doughnut was the best thing I’ve ever tasted in my life!

I walked into City Garden Doughnuts and Coffe yesterday for the first time. Very impressed. I had their maple bacon doughnut, my husband had the sm doughnut holes. Oh and I got a bacon cheddar scone to go. I have to tell you it was the best doughnut I have ever had. DELICIOUS. IT IS nice to know that there is some place that I can go and have something that is considered a special treat. Oh and you must bring someone special with you. Very nice people waiting on you. You will not be disappointed. Please no complaints about the price, this is not your typical doughnut shop, really a specialty shop , which Santa Rosa needs.

Doughnuts are crisp on the outside, doughy on the inside and topped with just the right stuff. Also, they have the best drip coffee in Santa Rosa. This is a must visit location.

Pistachio Pepper Lemon donut was the best! Also had the maple bacon and blueberry with oatmeal. Service was great. Everyone was friendly. Loved watching them make the donuts in the kitchen. I would totally suggest a plain donut option though. Those donuts are amazing just by themselves. Nice and fluffy but not greasy. Really good!

I have two babies, and during both of my pregnancies I craved "gourmet" "good quality doughnuts. So pretty much, the last few years of my life!!! The closest place to us here in Santa Rosa was Johnny's Doughnuts in San Rafael. Pregnant, with babies, we hardly ever made it out that far. When we heard that this doughnut shop was coming to OUR city, I literally jumped with joy. We have walked there and gotten their doughnuts several times now. I must say, their doughnuts are FANTASTIC. Better than I imagined a place like this would be!! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

Wow! The maple bacon doughnut is spectacular - complete with a full strip of crispy artisan bacon. Also try the savory scones: lots of cheese, onion, and meaty goodness.

Loved the maple bacon donut, I felt it was worth the price. Haven't tried the coffee or tea but it looked like they had a lot to choose from

Great coffee, donuts are fresh and delicious. My only complaint is that I want a jelly donut! Love love love this place. Edit: peanut butter and jelly doughnut oh my sweet bibbling jesus. Oh, they also have those horrid trendy metal chairs that even the thin people's butts hang over the edge...small complaint, but can we all agree to start buying comfy chairs for cafes etc again???

My wife and brought my parents here a month ago and we are still talking about how good this place is. We could have had breakfast there everyday and been truly happy. The donuts are incredible, the scone was delicious and the coffee was great. We loved watching them make the donuts while eating them up! Can't wait to go back, keep up the great work. You are missing out if you are in town and don't stop in

Absolutely amazing! It was a little overwhelming the first time because there is so much to look at but the staff was very patient and kind. The flavors were very tasty too. We tried the Whiskey Carmel, the Chocolate ganache with sea salt, and the Strawberry jelly brioche, and I would recommend all three. My one VERY SMALL complaint would be that the doughnut holes were not warm, but that didn't stop us from downing the whole bunch of them. Can't wait to go back!

Nailed it🙏😍💯🔥😳 this place just appeared to me while I was driving by. I popped in and fell in love. Their look is clean and minimalist. Tons of flavors to die for. I bought Cronuts and the old fashioned styles. They were all banging. I would def drive over an hour to come here. I haven’t tried the coffee yet but next time. Probably the only Con is that they are closed Monday and tuesdays. And after 2

Consistently great service (even long lines move quickly), donuts you couldn't get anywhere else in the county, and Black Oak coffee, which is so good I make it for myself at home when not guzzling it down here.

Definitely on the pricier side of Doughnuts but they were evenly cooked, fresh, soft and a bit lighter than traditional Doughnuts. My favorites were the fruit ones, in particular the blood orange one. I know now that I will crave these everytime I go somewhere else. Definitely recommended but don't get to hung up on the price as these are very special Doughnuts.

This place offers great brioche and cake style gourmet donuts in a modern setting. They also have great coffee/tea/espresso beverages, breakfast sandwiches, etc. All of which are very good. Think Acre, but fewer lunch style options and more donuts. Pretty much everything is made from scratch and amazing, to their syrups to the gourmet donuts. Great staff, decent prices, and amazing food/beverages. Highly recommend this neighborhood spot!

The salmon toast is the best i have had anywhere! The donuts were also fantastic. My favorite was the champagne. Wasn't crazy about the cinnamon roll. Too dry and hard. Haven't tried coffee so not sure on that but try the salmon toast or avacado toast!!!! Both are outstanding.

These are donuts? Someone took the lowly donut and stepped it up! My hubby ordered a maple old fashioned, he didn't recognize the huge delicious handful of yummy goodness that came out. I had asked for whatever that was with bacon, it was a huge raised glaze, topped with slices of bacon. Did we go to donut heaven?

I stopped by for the first time; ordered a maple/bacon and a lover's lane doughnut. They were pretty tasty, definitely larger and more filling than expected. I will definitely be coming back to try their other delectable doughnuts. I wish they were open more frequently; note. I recommend ordering online. Update: Wow!!! Their coffee is amazing!!! I got a Garden Latte and it was the best coffee I've had in over 6 months; it went perfectly with my pumpkin spice doughnut. The coffee alone makes the trip well worth it, see you soon!!! So sad to see them close their doors :( Best of luck to the owners/staff; your doughnuts, coffee and genuine warmth/love you put into your products will be greatly missed. Please keep us posted if you change your mind :)

DELICIOUS!! DELICIOUS!! DELICIOUS!! Ordered 3 of the Cranberry Glazed Seasonal Specials, 3 Chocolate Glazed & a Bagel Breakfast Sausage Sandwich. $32 and worth every penny for well made Treats & Food! Took everything over and shared with my Parents who were very Delighted when the boxes were opened. We stuffed our faces with each bite and didn't care about the delicious glaze around our mouths! Make sure when you order the Chocolate Glaze, let them know if you prefer Sea Salt or without. Will go back for sure. Delicious :)

Thank you for opening this wonderful donut shop. You can watch them make their delicious donuts by hand as each one is created special with a great great combination of flavors. They also brew a beautiful blend of coffees to enjoy! This isn't your typical donut shop!!

Guys, gals, this is it. Outstanding coffee. Outstanding donuts. Cool atmosphere, friendly staff, great service. The donuts are gourmet, so they are pricey ($3 - $5 /ea), but totally worth it, imo. Street parking is always available.

The coffee was great, we had a pistachio donut that was out of this world, and they offered us some green hummus to taste that was crazy delicious. The folks who work here are incredibly nice and the vibe is nice and laid back. I'll definitely be back!

Excellent doughnuts! Sure they are a little more expensive than a basic doughnut, but they are worth it. The lover's lane is so delicately flavored with rose and lavender. I have not yet tried everything but both the cake and brioche doughnuts are very well done. Parking isn't the best so just be prepared for that.
