I was recommended this restaurant by a local and I’m glad I listened! I had the shrimp scampi which came out hot, fresh, and fast! The portion was good size, and the flavor was just right. The atmosphere and service were also very good.
Just had dinner at this place and it was great!

The food, the portions, the service and the price amazing! Dinner for 2 with steamed clams and antipast salad for appetizer, bread came with the meal with a most unusual dipping sauce, but it was amazing. Seafood over pasta with loads of seafood and chicken parm. Everything spot on.
Every meal, every time we've been has been wonderful! The Chicken Picatta...yum! Shrimp Fra Diavlo...double yum! The staff is very warm and welcoming. We've been coming here for YEARS and it's still amazing today! Go! It'MUST TRY!
Our server, Micky, was very friendly and professional. We all enjoyed our meals, portions were very generous & a great value.
Great Italian food! I had the Shrimp Scampi and loved it! Dining room is small, but not too busy. I'd definitely try it again.

We were spending a couple of days in Saranac Lake. We decided to come to La Bella’s for dinner. We were seated right away, and our waiter was very polite and attentive. The homemade bread and dipping sauce was a welcome surprise and tasted excellent. Our Italian dishes were very good. The red sauce was excellent, as well as was the mixed green salads which came before our meals. One of the members of our party has a gluten allergy, and it was great to know that they had gluten free pasta available. All through dinner, the waiter continually checked on us and met all of our needs quickly. The dinner portions were large and were bursting with authentic Italian flavors. We would have loved to try the variety of desserts available but were just too full. I would highly recommend this restaurant as opposed to driving to Lake Placid. The prior night we went to Placid for dinner and did not get seated until 9:00 pm. La Bella’s has a nice quiet atmosphere with Adirondack decor, and you are guaranteed to be seated quickly. We will definitely stop here again
Nice little restaurant. Service was excellent. Complimentary bread and a delicious dipping sauce. We had the garlic bread which was four big slices of their fantastic homemade bread covered in garlic and cheese. Delicious. We got the chicken parm which was very good and shrimp scampi which was good except for the capers which kind of took over and there was strangly little pasta. But I would definitely go again.
