We went to angelo's for my gf's birthday and got treated like family. She got two roses andwe had our meal cooked in front of us at our table. The best experience i have ever had at a restaurant. If you are within a hundred miles and you dont see Angelo then you are really doing yourself a disservice. If you are looking for the best italian food, at a restaurant where you feel loved an cared about. Angelo's is your spot!!!
Thank god we found out that Angelo opened his own Restaurant and we can not say enough good things about our dining experience. This is one of a kind place where you will receive one of a kind treatment, from one of a kind person "Angelo". The Italian food they serve is hard to find anywhere else in Sarasota, FL. This will become our favorite new place to eat Italian.

We had the pleasure of dining here last night and it was amazing!!!!! We were greeted at the door with a sample of delicious sparkling wine and brought to our table. Our waiter Tamaso was friendly, knowledgable and made us feel like family even after finding out we were using a groupon! My husband chose the house specialty with the cheese wheel and I chose the Veal Parmigiana. Angelo came table side to prepare my husbands dish and did not disappoint. My veal was one of the best dishes I've ever had. On our way out I was given a beautiful fragrant red rose. Amazing experience and we are very much looking forward to our next visit!!

Tonight I finally had the chance to try Angelo’s and it did not disappoint. The food was absolutely delicious, the dessert was delectable, and the after dinner drink of an orangecello left me wanting more. I will definitely come back. Loved it!!
If you are looking for a fine dining experience this is the place. Marco with his professional attention to detail and Angelo with his ability to prepare your meal at your table while telling jokes and having fun is worth driving 40 minutes. The food is excellent and the wine choices are truly amazing. My wife and I are true Italians and we go every week.
I was there for Vacation back in September and stopped in there a few times,the Service and the Food was Fantastic like 2nd to nothing! I would highly recommend Angelo's to any of the Tourists or to the Floridians that live there.... The Best Italian Food that I've ever sank my teeth in and the best Service out of any Restaurant that I've ever walked into in my whole life.... Like Arnold says I'LL BE BACK! P.S. Love Angelo and his staff and the food is to die for. It's our night once a month or more to get great food and to get cared for completely. Happy Birthday Angelo.
Visiting Siesta Key for the week and desired an authentic italian meal. Saw Angelos on trip advisor and just had to try them when I saw the giant Parmesan wheel. Oh my goodness! So amazing! The food was cooked to perfection! I wish I lived in the area because I certainly would go back again and again.

We had one of the best times tonight at Angelo's, the food was excellent, service was excellent and the violin player brought me to tears more than once. I will go back here again and again! Our only small regret was we didn't save room for the fabulous desserts! Thank you Angelo and staff�
DELICIOUS. One of the best authentic Italian restaurants in town. Courteous staff, nice atmosphere and most importantly AMAZING FOOD! My wife is Italian, we have both been to Italy and this food is the real deal! The olive pesto dip for bread only lasted seconds on the table, and the calamari was perfect fried, seasoned, and complemented by the bright marinara sauce. We shared the cioppino which was fantastic. Highly recommend, don’t miss it!
Went last night and there's no word to describe the experience. Had the veal with eggplant and it was fabulous. Not to mention falling in love with the waiter Thomas. ��. Definitely will be back �

FANTASTIC RESTAURANT! Incredible food, ambience, very romantic not to mention that Angelo is the best host ever!! Last night we were also entertained by the super Italian singer Taddeo Scalici who is beyond incredible. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. Hands down one of the best if not the BEST Italian meals in Sarasota. From start to finish our experience was amazing! We started off the night with free champagne, followed by an amazing brunello. Our waiter was 🙌🏻🙌🏻. The anti pasta was delicious as well as the calamari. The risotto w/ prawn, veal chop, mussels pasta, and all other meals at our table were simply perfect. Atmosphere 👍🏻👍🏻. Even the saxophonist and the jellyfish painting lady all set the atmosphere lol. We were so stuffed we couldn’t sample any dessert even tho we really wanted to. Will definitely return at least once a month. They even let my wife toss her own pasta in the giant Parmesan wheel and posted it on their Facebook page. 5 ***** start to finish. Highly recommended. Non rushed dinner with plenty of Italian wine (multiple brunellos to choose from). Felt like we were back in the Amalfi coast. nothing but good things to say about this place!!!!!
We had a lovely dinner for 4. The service was perfect. Everything was explained, and they went out of their way to make each dish perfect. We even asked for some alterations on the dishes and they were happy to customize them. The dishes were excellent. The prices were reasonable, and the restaurant is intimate and comfortable. We will be back.
When we arrived (without a reservation I might add) we were greeted with a smile and quickly seated. At our table, Chef Angelo came over, took away our menus and told us he would make us something special. He cooked a four course meal for us at our table and it was incredible! Not only is he an amazing chef but also quite entertaining and kept us laughing the whole night! We had a great time and will definitely be back!! Thank you Chef Angelo!!
If you haven't been to Angelo's then you need to go. This is NOT a sauce and pasta joint, it's a Italian restaurant! The wine list is great, the staff is friendly and attentive. The food, well fantastic. We had a wonderful evening with friends and as we left Angelo was waiting at the door with Roses for the ladies. We plan to go again soon and have Angelo provide his table side service that we watched him provide to a group near us, they where having as much fun as we did. Thanks all at Angelo's, it's places and people like you that I enjoy giving my business and money to. See ya again soon
We didn't expect anything more than your typical Italian restaurant, and we were blown away. Live music, the antipasti was amazing, the chef brought the cheese wheel to the side of the table to cook in, and let our daughter help, and the banana foster was great too. One of our new favorite places!
Our dining experience was fantastic! From the moment we entered until we left, the service was great, food was wonderful and Angelo is an amazing and gracious host as well as chef!! And his signature dessert, the Angelo Foster, which he fixed table side was outstanding; and I don't even like bananas. We will definitely return!
Very nice experience. Waiters and staff where very friendly. Great food, great date with my wife. We don't get a chance to do this to often without kids, but would recommend this place with or without kids. The owner of the restaurant even came out to see that we where satisfied with everything. Don't let the exterior facade of the restaurant scare you, the interior is decorated very nicely.
Went for our 11 month anniversary of dating to our engagement nite. Made our reservations in advance and notified of needing to make it a special night. Waiting staff was wonderfully accommodating, wine selections were phenomenal, and the food was excellent! Highly recommended as they use locally caught seafood in their daily specials and are accommodating of dietary restrictions.
Marco really took care of us. The escargot was amazing and the fish filet prepared table side was absolutely fantastic. In fact, all of the dishes we had were wonderful. Most of the specials had multiple ways they could be prepared and I wish I could have tried them all. We will be going back for more this same trip.
