Great beach town cafe. Wonderful watermelon gazpacho. We stopped for a late lunch after a morning at the beach and it was perfect. You can stop down the block if there is a wait and the host will call you when your table is ready. We will definitely be back.
I've always loved this little restaurant. It's very nice and always has excellent food and service. This was my first time for brunch hours and it was wonderful as always. Highly recommend if you have time to stop!
A cute place to have breakfast. The food was very good and so was the service. We loved the atmosphere of the restaurant and the location was convenient to everything in Saugatuck. Highly recommended.
What's not to love about this place? Quaint restaurant that has a few tables on the main floor as well as table seating across the front window and at the bar; which was well stocked.
I highly recommend the avocado toast with eggs for a delicious filling, yet light breakfast/lunch option.
Their Bloody Marys are also delicious, but going to set you back about $14. They also had a pumpkin spice drink which looked good.
We came in with a party of 4 and sat at the bar for brunch (tip: no wait for the bar if available and you get full service).
We had drinks and brunch. The spritzer was the favorite drink! For food we ended up with 3 dishes: corn & beef hash, crab cake Benedict, and blacked mahi tacos. All were flavorful and came out quickly at the correct temperature and textures were all on point. Really no complaints. Definitely check out this restaurant.
Also, Alexa & Collin we’re both wonderful! Very friendly, prompt, and Collin helped make some menu decisions that did not disappoint!
We stopped by here for brunch and found Pumpernickels to be a delight. I had the homemade hash and eggs and my wife enjoyed pancakes and fruit. The coffee was nearly the best in town. This place was the perfect place to relax for a bit after a morning of shopping. The staff was more than accommodating and we sat, laughed, watched passerbyers and enjoyed it all immensely! As Always, Enjoy!

What a cool space to have the perfect brunch! Bottomless mimosas, spicy bloody mary's, wonderful service, and fresh, beautiful food!
We sat upstairs in this comfy restaurant, and enjoyed a coctail before breakfast. Everyone in our group enjoyed their food which ranged from a traditional egg breakfast to corned beef and hash, crab benedict, and a super-tasty avacado toast (that avocado-goat cheese mix was superb!). They also have a fresh qazpacho that was light and kind of like adding a fresh tomato juice coctail to your breakfast.
Highly recommend, and will visit again when back in town!
The Saugatuck Spritzers are perfect end to a great beach day. Kale and spinach salad was perfection. Lovely staff and ambiance.
Very cute and fun atmosphere. The Saturday bottomless mimosa’s are fantastic. Our server was fantastic, we will be back.
Had Brunch here with two college friends on a rainy Sunday. Such a cute atmosphere! We made a reservation in advance for the three of us and I really liked that the restaurant took reservations for small groups. Drinks and food were a hit! I had the crab cake Benedict and it was delicious and filling.

Great lunch while visiting the area. Gluten free fish tacos were delicious
When i dont know what to order, i order the benedict. This was crab cake Benedict and it was great. Also, my group was fascinated by the breakfast potatoes bc we never seen a restaurant serve them like this before, very unique! And the texture was perfect!! Super crispy on the outside and soft on the inside! They also didn’t over season it (wasnt too salty for any of us). Highly recommend if you’re in the area and looking for a place to eat!
Fantastic food and service. Was going to be an hour wait for a seat for brunch, but we found space at the bar and were happy to eat there. They make a great old fashioned too. Right downtown by other hot spots. Be warned that parking is difficult in the area.
We picked Pumpernickels pump patio to dine at on a Thursday night. The hostess seated us right away, and then a veteran server brought over a trainee, both of whom were friendly, and knowledgeable. I liked that after we received our food, one of the servers came by after just a minute or two and asked, "How are the first few bites?" rather than waiting until you're further into the meal should there have been something missing. I liked everything, although I couldn't name the sandwich we ordered because it seems their menu changes frequently. I can say, it was served on pumpernickel bread and was delicious! The fries were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside with flavorful seasoning. We split the sandwich and both ordered full bowls of tomato soup, which was a great match, and I added a Saugatuck Brewing can of Oval Beach Blonde ale. There was live music, which was a solo performer that used recorded tracks to play and sing over. He was a good entertainer, although we were sitting outside, so could only hear. It wasn't so loud that you couldn't talk, but loud enough to enjoy. We even saw one couple get up and dance. Next time that might be us.
Loved it! We were there twice, both times for breakfast. Service was great, attentive but not overwhelming. We sat inside upstairs and outside on the patio and both area are very open and pleasant to be in. Outdoor tables can be a touch small, so if you have 4 people and a lot of food and drink it could be crowded.
The food is great. We had french toast, which they made with sourdough for our young daughter, and corned beef. Both the Benedict and the hash. Both were outstanding, their corned beef is amazing. Sides of bacon and sausage were also great. It's not the cheapest place for breakfast, but during our stay it was the tastiest. Recommend going at least once if you're in the area.
