I think I’ve died and gone to heaven! Meltaway, Edelweiss, Crumbcake, and Butter Buns! I’ve lived away 48 years, but Mom and Dad brought coffee cakes every time they visited! Great to have them again!

Yesterday I was out and came across a very famous NYC bakery and I had to find out for myself what the hoopla was about. Maybe I had high expectations but I was disappointed. All I kept thinking was they are no Sugar Me Sweet Bakers!! Sugar Me sweet Bakers cake is not only moist but flavorful and frostings are amazing. The muffins are to die for and cookies are delicious! Keep baking and rocking :)
I stopped for the first time yesterday. I saw this adorable bakery and had to check it out. Sugar Me Sweet is the best!!! Bought a little bit of everything and it was all wonderful! The owner is fabulous, too!
Cannot believe we just discovered this little gem! Such an adorable little bakery, and the sweets are beyond delicious! Literally everything we tried was amazing. This is definitely going to be our go to sweet stop!
So happy to have the Lachman treats back! The meltaway cups are so good, as is the edelweiss! Looking forward to the coffee cakes and all the other delicious goodies! If you have not been to the Meltaway Bakery your missing out! It is AMAZING!!
Let me start with a small "negative"... their hours are a little limited and their variety altho beautiful is also a little limited compared to places like Deisings. That said... I understand this place is smaller, brand new, and I'm sure will expand given their quality. Positives? Their customer service is supreme. Their products are top notch. Location is convenient. Prices reasonable. Store is clean. They are A+ across the board. I look forward to watching them grow... and I believe they will.
Another successful item from The Meltaway Bakery. Except this time it was our wedding cake! All the guests ranted about how delicious the cake was. Thanks once again!
We've moved to South Carolina from Saugerties. Excellent Bakery. The baker here, was at Lachmanns Bakery(that we miss)
and then at Adams. We absolutely LOVE the Edelweiss coffee cake. We used to get it from Lachmanns, Adams and
Now Meltaway.
When we come up from SC, we always order to get some to take with us. home.
My guilty pleasure. I cant explain the tastes but i can tell you it is worth the trip!! I cant leave the parking lot without eating a Chocolate Chip Cannoli.

Wow. I’m blessed to have such an awesome bakery so close by!! I ordered desserts and a birthday cake for a big party I had at the house and they did an amazing job both with all the mini desserts and the birthday cake. They brought everything just in time and just as promised. Everything was delicious and clearly high quality. Thank you for making this so wonderful!!

First time there I called in an order because I heard they run out quick! So I made the trip (2hour drive). So when I arrived I waited in line and soon enough the staff was extremely friendly they brought out my boxes of delicious goodies (there were many) and again the drive home. Soon after my family started to sample the delicious goodies! Definitely worth the trip all homemade, no store bought commercial garbage ALL very tasty!!!
I adore this place. The pastries & deserts are the best in the area, and the ladies who work there are just as sweet as their baked good. Love it!!

Amazing! I am only sorry that I did not take a photo of the large U shaped almond cookie dipped in chocolate that I devoured. And we also had a danish with cinnamon and apples, walnuts, too! A cup of great coffee, so, what a way to start the day!

I bought several items the day I went because I'm going to a Easter dinner and bringing dessert. I tried each cupcake they had there lemon bars, black &white cookie, cannolis, and there Famous Meltaway Coffee cake. If you enjoy a Coffee cake this is definitely a good one, I love this one and could probably eat the whole thing it's that addictive. The cannolis where average. The Lemon bars where above average I liked them. The cupcakes for the most part where disappointing, EXCEPT the Carrot cake cupcake it was moist and delicious. What ruins most cupcakes for me is to much frosting and plain cake in it. Infuse the cake with flavor like they do with there Maple syrup cupcake that was good but still to much frosting still but excellent cake. They also had probably the best Black & White cookie I had in a long time, moist and delicious. Plus the icing wasn't hard like you buy at most stores or bakeries. You should definitely give them a try, you may have a different taste then me. I'll be going back there. There open Thursday through Saturday. Enjoy

Highly recommended bakery in Hudson Valley!
I just want to say your bakery is fabulous. My brother and sister in law with help from husband ordered a birthday cake for me. The cake was fabulous chocolate on chocolate cake. Thought i was in heaven. Very moist and so chocolaty. Keep up the good work. Wonderful.
We love this bakery- it's tiny but the selection is great, and always fresh. What really makes it for me, aside from the high quality of all of the products, is just how nice and friendly the owner is every single time we come in. My daughter is hooked on the butter buns, and we stop in as a special treat. We have also made a special order from the Meltaway for my parents' 40th anniversary- dozens upon dozens of half-sized black and white cookies, which were a smash hit at the party. Support this great local business!
Meltaway - you were kind, affordable, and delicious. I can literally ask no more of you. I bought like a whole big bag of various pastries. $22. Are you kidding? Hell yeah. They were all so good -- croissants, chocolate croissants, some sort of walnut bread, cupcakes, and some eclairs. You all seriously know what's up.
Visited this bakery while staying with family in Saugerties. The crumb coffee cake is the best I have ever had. The melt away cups were delicious. The owners were very friendly. I just wish I lived closer.
