My most favorite place . The ambience is phenomenal and times they have live music with piano in the main dining room . Very romantic and would love to get married there . Food is delicious view is spectacular and customer service is stellar...
Excellent service, good food with a varied brunch menu. Beautiful view! Highly recommend The Trident.
We arrived on time to our New Years eve dinner reservations, they gave us a beautiful view full outside on the deck seats with heaters. Service was slow but re food was excellent and te views were spectacular. Steaks were mouth watering and perfect. They let us stay as long as We liked no pressure to leave after dinner. One of our best new years dinner yet.
Celebrated my sister's birthday and had a great time at The Trident this weekend. The food was delicious, the view was spectacular, and the service was impeccable. The place was packed, yet our server, Lydia, was SO sweet and very attentive to our party! She was perfect!!!!
Great services Soectacular view Delicious fresh oysters! We had a fab birthday celebration! This is a place where you go have lunch brunch dinner at all occasion. Happy regular customer for years!
Great food, utterly amazing views and excellent staff. I recommend the scallops!
Our server was Nick...he was excellent! The food was also fantastic! I’ll be back on a less foggy day to check out the view.....👍🏻
The Trident is a very nice place to eat at! Their food is really good and fresh. I obviously recommend the fish. Their service is really nice and they gave us food quickly. The atmosphere is nice and next to the ocean. Overall, I really like the place!

From the outside it seems like a different place than what you will experience inside. An old yacht club from the 1890's. The inside is filled with wonderful memorabilia and stories about its origin. Wonderful bay and city views. Food isn't extraordinary but all worth the visit!
I haven’t even ordered food yet but from the menu, ambiance, aesthetic, views, location, and knowledgeable staff… Dita’s has gone above and beyond. Alvaro infused cacao and dark chocolate into the vodka for the espresso martini. Loved it, not too sweet!!! Idk if it’ll be a staple item but I love the creative freedom they gave him. If this is indicative of their food, then my gawd, there is a gawd.
The food is delicious! I had the salmon dish and shrimp cocktail appetizer. The staff was exceptional! I felt like a VIP. They placed me in a comfy booth in front of a window where I watched a seal pop his head out of the water. The restaurant is right on the main strip with shopping and beautiful water views!
Came in on a whim to have a quick drink and some soup as the sun was going down.
The mussels were amazing, and the sauvignon blanc was very smooth and delicious. The view was beautiful and although we didn’t all have full meals I would definitely recommend this place.
Good crab cakes Benedict and Mimosa. Can't beat the views. Prices decent. Friendly staff. Sat outside, little breezy, hoping heater worked a bit better. Had to wait a little on bill but all in all, I'd go again.
Awesome ambience, food and cocktails (Tequila Sunrise is celebrating 50 years and they donate a portion to Sea Lion conservation). Rainy days are perfect either indoor or outdoor deck!
Service was fantastic, chef was very accomodating to our needs. Prices are on the higher end; I don’t really think a poboy is worth $30 no matter how good it is. HOWEVER, the quality of the food is fantastic you can taste the freshness. We ordered the Caesar salad, calamari, shrimp poboy, and the capppellini with clams and shrimp. For $39 you get 3 shrimp and 4 clams which is obscene, but again, the flavor is very good. Caesar salad was standard, calamari was delicious-hot, light, and crisp. Poboy was good, nothing to write home about. Pasta was very good. We also ordered a virgin grapefruit mojito. It was fantastic. The 2 complaints I had were 1) we were charged for a full drink on the mojito although we did not have any alcohol (which is the most expensive part of a drink) and 2) we were under the understanding that parking was validated for guests who dined at the restaurant. When we came out to get our car, however, the attendant charged us $15 for an hour and a half of parking and had us get the car ourselves. Total before tip came out to around $140.
My wife and I celebrated our 22 wedding Anniversary at The Trident. What an experience. The view, the ambiance, the food was all top notch. The drinks were made to perfection. Despite the windy conditions it was a memorable anniversary for the both of us.
Thank you
Most of the dishes are good, except the pan seared jumbo sea scallops. Scallops are NOT fresh and taste nasty.
Old school restaurant with an old school surf'n'turf style menu. Food was really good though. The view on the patio was nice, but the place could do with a makeover to maximize the appeal. GM says they're preserving history, but nobody wants to eat in a museum. Especially with that view.

We stopped in for lunch and was seated outside on the heated patio. Though we were seated against the wall and couldn’t feel the heat, it was a sunny day. A little chilly, but not uncomfortable.
The clam chowder was delicious and the white fish ceviche fresh and tasty! If you’re a fan of Buena Vista’s Irish coffee, this is their sister restaurant.
The inside decor is very interesting. Overall a great place to stop for a bite if you’re in Sausalito.
Blistered Shishito Peppers, Dungeness Crab Cakes, Classic Salad, bourbon and gin cocktails. Superior bay views, very good service. Perhaps to compensate for overpricing.
Stopped in here for lunch after checking out the Golden Gate Bridge. The food was delicious and the service was great. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and got a table we requested over a different one. The menu has a good variety but not overwhelming. Will definitely come back the next time I’m in town.
Sent here by locals, while looking for a mythically good Bloody Mary, and they did not disappoint. Generously poured, in a pint glass with a lemon, a lime, and some celery, this Bloody Mary truly satisfied. Great view of the bay, in this quiet haunted little Hamlet of yore.
The location is the best. This is followed by amazing service. The food menu has changed over time. It's still very good, but not as excellent as you would expect for the prices. Room for improvement. I had the seafood pasta. It lacked flavor. Poke is excellent 👌
I love Sausalito! Any time I’m here I always make sure to end the day at Trident with its magnificent cityscape view of SF. The seafood is by far the freshest I’ve ever had, besides that one time me and granny was stuck out on the pacific and we had to make due.
When you walk in I love to sit by the far right just along the corner of the restaurant which gives me unobstructed view while I devour my meal and relax to the sway of the water.
P.S The drinks will surely get you 💦🌊
Brick chicken was not cooked properly, some how it was uncooked in the middle. We waited for half an hour and got something below our exceptions. The taste was also not favorable probably due to lack of enough spices and flavoring. Cheeseburger was good though.
By the way,the restaurant view is awesome. 😍
