cute quaint little place with chairs outside and breathtaking views
We love the made in "advance vegetarian entree" options that change often. We just had the Vegetarian Pesto Lasagna and it was scrumptious!
I thank the Sausalito locals for recommending me this market outside the tourist trap restaurants!! There’s a food/grill where they have Crab cakes,Salmon cakes, Chicken Pot Pie and Quiche. I had the Crab cake and the Salmon cake (both cost $4-5!!!) with local SF beer and they were really good!!! There’s other items in the market and super friendly service! I’ll come back again!
I've been in a casual committed dating situation with Drivers for the 5 years I have lived in Sausalito. First few visits I thought it wasn't good enough for me, I kept comparing it to Bi-Rite in SF. We kept trying to make it work and every visit I found more things to love.
It turns out I've been slowly falling in love with this understated gem and now I am in a full blown love affair with this place. From their delicious breakfast Burritos (well constructed, perfectly spicy, and relatively healthy with sautéed greens and a whole wheat tortilla), Bentons bacon, Humboldt cherry cider, interesting and unique boutique Asian spices/ingredients, Bardstown bourbon, raaka chocolate, Della fattoria Meyer lemon bread, firehouse mikes pepperjack cheesr, etc etc this place has got it going on. And the service is terrific-I was able to special order acme bakery slider buns for a party and it's always nice to see the same crew.
AND I scored the last bottle of Siracha on the planet here. I also noticed they have canned jackfruit- how rare is that??
I don't love their produce, it's trying hard and they stock the right items but it seems a bit past peak freshness.
Next area of exploration will be their wine section.
Awesome spot for a sandwich or snack. Lots of curated offerings and specialty food items. Amazing selection of craft beer and wine. I highly recommend Drivers market of you're ever in the area, good clean food and friendly folk. A definite gem in a quaint community. Look for the rosemary olive bread, it's the best bread I've ever had.
I am guilty of daily visits for organic, fresh produce. And vegan cookies. The chocolate ginger cookies in the front cooler are amazeballs. I Love that they sell locally made products. Very nice staff too.
We are so grateful to Driver's for keeping our Festival lounges stocked for the Mill Valley Film Festival. Graham, Adam and their whole team have been so fabulous to work with...even with a power outage! 💕
A small local organic shop for dine in meals as well as groceries. Their produce is mostly organic and the store promotes a lot of CBD products so if you’re into those products, this place will be good for you to stop by!
Great products you can't get anywhere else. I love the tea & beer options. There are many any high end selections I have never seen or tasted before! Also great for lunch.
Love this place. Really amazing atmosphere, well-curated selection of groceries, and great deli. Really appreciate the thoughtfulness that goes into every aspect of the shop, so that we as shoppers can come in and have the environmentally friendly part just designed into our shopping. Only frustration is that a lot of the products still come with unsustainable packaging, the primary culprit being plastic. If anyone will solve the packaging dilemma, it'll be this crew.
This is one of the best organic small grocery stores anyplace. Love supporting small businesses and they have refined taste. Produce, excellent wines, organic sea salt chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwiches!!! Everything delicious and a deli to order fresh daily. Love love love this place.
Driver's Market is fabulous! The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and professional. The owners are completely involved in the day to day operations and are very thoughtful, and present. This market is community oriented and is providing a much needed hub for Sausalito. They carry everything that I could want as well as some decadent treats that I didn't know that I wanted. Their toiletries/supplements/health section is comprehensive. I discovered a shampoo and eye cream that I love! It is obvious that a lot of research and planning has gone into the items that they carry. I tried their Tofu Salad Wrap and loved it! I also tried a brownie which was fabulous! Their produce is fresh and delicious and I love their huge and thorough bulk section. The wine section is beautiful, with a wine rack that looks like a beautiful piece of art. I am very happy that Driver's Market has come to Sausalito, it has made my life way more convenient!
Cool local market with a lots of quality food and beverage products. They had a larger selection of single can beers available than I think I've seen anywhere outside of a few liquor stores that dedicate a lot of space to beer. Also, lots and lots of chocolate from all over the world. Their baked goods and deli looked great too but we didn't try anything.
Great little market for picking up lunch. I work a few blocks away and my co-workers go there about twice a week. All of the items in the market are high quality but overpriced. I highly recommend the Chicken and Spinach curry combo. It's a HUGE portion and it's got a good amount of spice which is easily extinguished by the excellent yogurt sauce.
So grateful to have this gem of a market in our little (beyond the tourists) town. High quality produce, limited but good proteins, and excellent staff. Kept me feeling safe during Covid lockdown. Truly a treasure.
I'm giving it a five, anyone who can survive in this market and not be overcome by wholefoods I'm going to give a thumbs up! I just had this amazing hot ginger drink, which I could become a total addict of! But I did walk around and it seemed pricey and the vibe was OK, it wasn't that welcoming. But hey I read some reviews and it is apparently a very friendly place. I'm positive you are getting quality and organizations.
Opened just a few short years, this splendid market focuses on organic, healthy, sustainable and high-quality groceries, wine and prepared foods. Local farm produce is a big draw along with choice meats and cheeses. The deli turns out remarkably good soups, sandwiches, wraps and breakfast items, including the North Bay's best reuben. Wine and beer selections are well-curated and bulk food items are available. This shop has become a social magnet for locals who linger in comfortable tables and chairs inside and out. Service is smart, efficient and cheerful.
High end corner market with deli meats, cheeses, natural snacks, fresh produce and great wine, beer and dessert. Great stop for snacks for a fun night in with wine and charcuterie. Clean store and helpful staff. Giving a 4 rating simply due to items being fairly pricey.
I love Driver's Market for both quality, healthy hot lunch and staple groceries. And really, they have best very best wines in Marin for price and selection! There is a corner of the store that is like a little wine shop. I'm also always super impressed with the beers options. I have not found anywhere else that compares with the depth of actual craft beers and ciders. There is not another market in Marin County with better beer choices.
