We were traveling through Savannah from HHI on our way home and did an internet search for Sandwich Shoppes in Savannah. We were not disappointed! I had the Mediterranean chicken panini and my husband had the classic chicken panini. They were both excellent and very filling. We found it a bit pricy for lunch but the food was amazing so it was worth it and we were not hungry the rest of the day. If we find ourselves in Savannah again this place will definitely be on our places to go.

The hummus was the best I have ever had.....anywhere. We had the BLT and CBG panini's and both were amazing. Parking is a little bit and miss but well worth circling the block a few times. The staff was very freindly and attentive, we'll definately will be going back.

The CBG (chicken Bacon Guac) is super good. Today I had their special panini with steak and onions and again.. phenomenal. Prices are a little higher then I'd like but the food is extraordinarily good.

I love this place. It is a must have anytime I'm in the area. I've never been disappointed. One of my favourite thing about it is their Earl Gray.iced tea

My favorite place for lunch in Savannah. They are open 11-3, M-F, so make a point of setting aside the time to visit this cafe set up in a historic home in Starland. Everything is delicious and fresh, and the portions are huge. Don’t miss the CBG, Starzanella Salad, and the Goat Bomb. Whenever I’m at SC, I drink altogether too many Earl Gray ice tea with a lemonade topper. Always friendly & accommodating service too. Starland Cafe has my highest recommendation.

Such a neat little spot! I came into town for work and just looked at restaurants near me and this place came up. I decided to give it a try and SO glad I did! The food was SO good, and the staff was so nice.

I had the pleasure of staying upstairs in the Air B&B above the cafe (wonderful apartment and beautifully furnished). For lunch, I wanted to try Pa's Pimento Cheese Plate that I saw another reviewer develop an unhealthy relationship with. She wasn't kidding! Pa's Pimento Plate and Pa's Pimento Panini (which my husband got) were both delicious. We both like home-made pimento cheese and I have to say this was the BEST that I have had anywhere. The cheese is grated into small pellets that produce a great texture and the flavors are perfect. The plate comes with fresh toasted bread that is wonderful by itself and a perfect pairing to the pimento cheese. You also get a decent portion size that could be shared by two. I was so sad to have to leave behind half a portion since I had a long drive ahead of me and couldn't take leftovers home. Seriously - it was agonizing leaving the leftovers behind it was that good! Staying upstairs, the staff offered to deliver it to us in the apartment which was awesome. I felt like a VIP. There are several menu items that sounded great - but we were only in Savannah for two nights and one lunch-time period. If you are the area, definitely check out Starland Cafe!

Consistently delicious. Go-to-place for a panini or salad, both are always fantastic! One of my favorite places to eat fresh and healthily!

A hidden gem in Savannah! First time there for my husband and I, we will be back!! I had the salad special today, greens, chopped beets, banana peppers, feta cheese, Greek olives, it was outstanding! My husband had the Southwest salad, amazing!!! What a wonderful place, friendly staff, nice atmosphere!!! You won't be disappointed!!

It looks like a house on the outside, yet inside it hides a delicious kitchen, like homemade, food. I got a sandwich, and my friends got a tomatoe soup curry, that it was DELICIOUS. You pay a little more that what you normally do for sandwiches but they are delicious and enough to stuff you up. Simple, casual place, southern hospitality, good costumers-family oriented, and enough street parking lots. Enjoy it

Delicious food and awesome atmosphere. Had the pimento cheese plate and the Mediterranean Panini but both were too good to photograph before eating so apologies for that. I did manage to snag a photo of the menue because it wasn't edible. Didn't expect to find THIS flavor at a house converted to a restaurant in Savannah. Highly recommend

This spot stays very busy so wait times for ordering and getting your food can be long, skip it if you’re in a rush… but otherwise definitely worth the wait! Charming and quirky space with thoughtful service from the attentive owners and staff. The most delicious soups, salads, and sandwiches in town. Goat bomb is the bomb. Very generous portions. A Savannah staple.

Best panini I’ve ever had! I got the green goat with chicken and a cuban, and both were amazing. Bread and all other ingredients were super fresh. Only outdoor seating available at the moment.

We got the trio platter to provide a light snack for guests while we took pictures after our wedding. All three items were absolutely delicious! The pimento cheese was especially amazing! I think a few guests went beyond "light snack" to full meal because they couldn't stop eating. 😋 Thank you, Starland, for being part of our special day!

My new favorite place in Savannah! Had the Cuban and the goat bomb. Both were excellent. I can't wait to go back and try more stuff. Service was great too. This is very well run place.

The hidden gem of Savannah. Tucked away in a beautiful part of the starland district. This is the best sandwich you can get in Savannah. The staff is super friendly and make the place feel classily casual. Will be taking many people here!

Meg, Marissa, and Kaley are always amazing when I visit here. Everything on the menu is superb and top notch. From the Tomato Thai Soup, the panini's, and all the salads, everything is awesome. In addition to enjoying their menu, the customer service is next level. They made me feel welcome and treated me like they've known me for years. If you're in Savannah you definitely have to try this place out, you won't be disappointed.

The Starland Cafe did a great job on our order for 23 people for a company event. They made sure the order was 100% correct and helped us out by writing each person’s name on the sandwich (such a huge help!). The paninis were delicious and priced just right. Great job!

The Kitchen Sink salad is one of the best salads I've ever had. Controversially, it may be the literal best thing I ate over two weeks in Savannah. Get it with chicken and goat cheese and enjoy Try to beat the lunch rush so you can get a seat inside. They have outside seating, too, but Savannah is hot in July.
