Our order got mixed up and we waited about 45 for our food. When they realized it they gave us macaroons and a free mimosa. Free alcohol and sweets always deserves forgiveness. We enjoyed the view out the window and the food was delicious. I would recommend this place for breakfast.
Fantastic breakfast place and French patisserie on Bay St which is close to most major hotels. The best scrambled eggs on toasted baguette and totally amazing quiche and croissant along with many other delicious items. Friendly staff and good service with an ambience just like a typical French Cafe. Highly recommend!

This place was the best food my husband and I had in Savannah. The amaretto latte was so delicious as well as their sandwiches! The owner came out to say hello and was very friendly! I am jealous that Charlotte, NC where we live does not have a place like this! Highly recommend! Thanks a Latte!
Cafe M is a very clean and open space. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and polite. The food was delicious and the tea was excellent. I would definitely go again and recommend this cafe to everyone!
The service was incredible, the atmosphere was incredible and the food and hot tea were incredible as well. I recommend the cronut and croissant with honey and bananas! So good!
I was in search of a quaint little spot not far from our hotel for breakfast and Cafe M did not disappoint. I ordered an egg sandwich on a buttered croissant with a decaf iced white mocha and both were delicious! The chips and small side salad were an added bonus too. I was able to sit outside and soak up the sun, but the inside is so welcoming and cute as well!

Cute little cafe with inside and outside seating. My husband had a baguette sandwich with prosciutto, sun-dried tomato, mozzarella and pesto, and I had the croissant melt with brie, walnuts and honey. Both were delicious. We each had a macaron, which was delicious, as well. I definitely recommend.

This place is amazing and worth the stop when in Savannah. Decor is a perfect Paris bakery and the workers are pleasant and sweet. The bakery goods are yummy and the breads and croissants are amazing! The scrambled eggs are on a level of their own. An egg sandwich to dream about.
Great food. Was concerned when I saw the menu was pretty much only sandwiches, but they took them to another level. Good variety of flavors for coffee too. Small place, but great ambience. Sit outside if you can. Definitely recommend.
Truly delicious authentic Parisian food and a cute little café that makes you feel like you escaped and ventured to Paris. The service was great and we truly enjoyed our quiche Lorraine and Bree board would proceed on them some of the most delicious fruit I've had in a long time. Can't wait to go back! I have a recommend it

Cafe M is a cute and quaint cafe on river street! I visited on a whim and wasn't disappointed. I got the Provence sandwich and it was super delicious. The staff was kind and attentive. I also got the iced chai latte (I've been making it a mission of mine to try a chai at every cafe I've gone to in Savannah) and it was just okay. My fiance loved it I just prefer mine spicier! Would definitely come back in the future
Nice place to eat and close to the river. Had the ham and Swiss very good and the baguette was fresh. Tried a little of my wife's chicken salad. Dittos.
Nice atmosphere. Mix of young and old. Big windows so one can look at sunshine and moss trees
Such a great location. The latte (almond armaretto) and the hot chocolate was heaven. The butter croissant was delicious.
Highly recommend stopping here for a break while in Savannah, Ga.
Loved this place - great bread - sandwich with brie and pear is awesome! Also, chocolate croissant is just as good as in France.
A delightful breakfast find for our last day in Savannah. A quaint restraunt with indoor and outdoor seating. Order at the register & wait patiently for your delicious meal to arrive. Everyone in our party ordered something different, we were all incredibly pleased with our meal. My quiche was exceptional. A bonus, the perfectly crafted mimosas. When visiting Savannah again, I will definitely visit Cafe M.
My family and I came here everyday on our vacation as the food was so delicious! We loved the croissants, macarons, and cappuccinos. Service can be fast depending on how busy it is.
Went here as it was convenient for my hotel. Had a vegetarian dish which was delightful! Pricing is reasonable.
Not sure about the plastic utensils though - that was a surprise as I was expecting normal cutlery. Quaint. Worth a visit.
Atmosphere here is so French. The service, however... ?
Croissant was cold, hence the lady bringing out a new batch from the back.
Iced Chai in a plastic buffet cup you'd find at the dollar tree...(?)
Baguettes very crunchy, like scraping the insides of your mouth if you're not careful-crunchy.
Overall though the food did taste good. 🥐
There's a distinct sense of charm that hangs in the air as one steps into Cafe M, located in the heart of Savannah, Georgia. Drawing heavily from French inspiration, the quaint and aesthetically appealing venue effortlessly invites you in. From the outside, its captivating facade bears a hint of rustic, old-world allure. As you cross the threshold, the interior reflects a tasteful representation of French elegance, perfectly embodying the sophistication and refinement often associated with France.
That being said, as a discerning coffee enthusiast, my critique primarily orbits around the coffee offered at Cafe M. As it turns out, the experience here was subtly underwhelming. The coffee I tasted, although brewed with care, seemed to lack the rich, robust flavors that coffee connoisseurs might anticipate. The flavors were not as deep or multi-dimensional as I would have hoped, leaving my taste buds craving more depth and complexity.
In conclusion, while Cafe M scores high on ambiance and its delightful nod to French charm, the coffee experience didn't meet the mark of what my palate has grown to expect from a high-end café. The narrative of their coffee needs more layers to fully satisfy the expectations of a discerning coffee lover. Nonetheless, for those who appreciate well-curated interiors and an enchanting atmosphere, Cafe M in Savannah, Georgia, may just be the right fit.
Really cute cafe in a convenient location near River street. Cute Parisian vibes inside though it could use a little TLC to clean up the place a bit. Regardless, we had delicious food (still dreaming of this croissant egg sandwich!!) and good coffee. Would definitely recommend!
This is such a quaint little café tucked in the middle of downtown Savannah on Bay Street in Savannah Ga. The atmosphere takes you straight to the streets of France with outdoor seating and the cozy tables for two inside are perfect for that solo breakfast or sharing a pastry with your one and only.
The French inspired cuisine is exceptional and extraordinarily tasty. From sweet pastries, delectable sandwiches, and the best breakfast sandwich I’ve had in a while.
The staff is professional and efficient and work amazing culinary magic in the kitchen and prepare the most silky smooth lattes behind the counter.
Now it’s time sit and enjoy this amazing breakfast sandwich and take in the atmosphere! Thank you Cafe M team, y’all are amazing and love coming here to escape the morning!
Small local shop on the old River section. I had the chicken salad sandwich and roasted red pepper and tomato soup. Very good food! Definetly worth my hard earned money.
This place is a must go, food, drinks, morning cocktails, everything is top notch. You literally can’t find anything bad on the menu and the vibe is beyond fantastic
This quaint Parisian cafe in Savannah was next to our hotel, so it couldn't have been more convenient for daily morning coffee and croissants before heading out for daily explorations and sightseeing. We ate a proper breakfast once, and it did not disappoint! Quiche was perfect, and pour over tea was a special touch.
I recently had the pleasure of experiencing a delightful breakfast at Cafe M, and it was nothing short of amazing. The combination of delicious breakfast croissants and refreshing mimosas was the perfect start to the day.
The croissants were freshly baked to perfection, offering a flaky, buttery goodness that melted in your mouth. The variety of fillings and toppings added a burst of flavor, making each bite a culinary delight.
What truly stood out was the super-fast service. Even in a historic period venue, the staff at Cafe M managed to serve us promptly without compromising on the quality of the food or the friendly atmosphere.
Speaking of the venue, the historic setting added a unique charm to the experience. It felt like stepping back in time while enjoying a modern culinary experience.
Cafe M's combination of delicious food, refreshing drinks, and efficient service in a historic backdrop made for an unforgettable morning. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this cafe is a must-visit for a memorable breakfast experience. I can't wait to return and savor their croissants and mimosas again.
Cafe M is one of my favorite spots in Savannah, after being here for over 3 years, this is still one of my personal top 10 restaurants to go to! The staff is absolutely amazing and not to mention the croissants and pastries are fantastic! I’m much more of a tea than a coffee person, and I highly recommend trying their Raspberry Nectar tea (on ice)
Spent a relaxing Saturday brunch with my friend from Virginia, this is his favorite restaurant and every time he comes down, this is where we eat
I can't sing the praises of this food enough. Worth the wait, come early. Eggs were fluffy and French. Croissant was was flaky and buttery. House Coffee was good but I'll get mine just a touch darker next time.
My Parisian croissant was delicious, as was the quiche and cappuccino. The Parisian on the baguette was more like a pickle sandwich topped with ham, which wasn’t quite as filling as promised for my hungry fiancé. The tea over ice steeping pitcher was a neat experience. The location is great, with limited indoor and outdoor seating. We’d recommend.
My latte was perfect and the toasted croissant was on point! Perfect way to start the day. Hally helped us and she s awesome. Super welcoming made us feel like family. I will for sure be back!
Very impressed with the breakfast, lunch, and bakery options available here to include French baguette, strudels, and other sweet tasty treats. The service is great although it gets busy and lines get long. Plenty of outdoor seating to accommodate most small groups on the small bistro sized tables with 2-3 chairs per table. The breakfast croissant was the best meal I had and the apple cinnamon tart was superb in both flavor and textures. And the coffee options are fantastic featuring both hot and cold options. The best French styled cafe in Savannah! 5 Stars
