I moved to Savannah GA 1 year and 4 months ago from Massachusetts. Back home I was smitten with pastrami grinders from Brothers Pizza. I HAD to find a place that made pastrami sandwiches...can you believe it took all this time????? Finally! Yesterday I had a sub and was very pleased! I will be back!!!
Best subs in Savannah everything was delicious and had great customer service. The atmosphere was very welcoming and friendly. We got to try samples of the menu and a special Peruvian sauce.
The only sub place where I'd spend $10+ on a sub. Plus, the owners are very nice.

The sub is, by far, my favorite sandwich but my bride of 43 years, well, let's just say she's not as big a fan as I am, but she WILL eat at this shop. I'm retired military and as such, I have eaten subs, of every kind, all over the world, as long as they make them in that country, of course. The first experience I had was a Philly, well, in Philly, in the 70s. been hooked ever since. My lady and I moved here from NC not quite 2 years ago and I've visited many shops since then. I happened across the Larry's on Abercorn operated by a Mr. Desai by pure accident. When I walked in the store, he greeted me and talked to me as if he had known me for years. To be honest, that concerned me a bit because I wasn't use to it. I even looked at the other patrons in the store thinking he was talking to one of them, and he wasn't. The sandwich was awesome and he darned sure didn't skimp on the ingredients. If you leave there hungry, it's your own fault. Thinking it HAD to be a fluke, I went back, again and again, and it was always the same. I purposely waited to write a review just to make sure. I went there last Saturday evening and knew it was time to write it. I highly recommend you give yourself a treat and try it. There are 3 in town, so don't judge his sandwiches and store by theirs, trust me on that. Can I ABSOLUTELY guarantee you'll love it, no! Nobody can. We all have different taste, but as for me, you better believe it!! ENJOY!! DJ
Best sandwiches around. Whether you're comparing other delis or actual restaurants. Ingredients are fresh, customer service is top notch. It's absolutely one of our favorite places to eat.

I've been here twice now. The owner is always here hard at work, making great subs. He's very friendly and talks to every customer to ensure they are satisfied with their order.
First time order was a turkey with tomatoes, easy classic. So good I forgot to take photos. lol
Second time order was the Philly, great option for an overcast day.
The store has always been super clean and well kept.
The subs are the good. The staff was sweet. The Italian beef with peppers was good but the peppers are super spicy, lips burning 10 minutes after eating .
I love a good sub and these are some of the BEST in Savannah, I love that they use healthier ingredients without fillers and have really good options to choose from. Everything was so fresh and the bread is some of the best I ever had, reminds me of NY. I can’t forget to mention the outstanding customer service I received they really know how to take care of their customers, truly top notch! Keeps me coming back!! If you love a good sub, you should check them out!! ……FYI even their meatballs are delicious, and the Peruvian sauce is a must try on any sandwich 🤤
Me Desai was very awesome! This was our first time eating here while visiting from South Carolina. He let us taste test different meats & sauces before we bought anything.
We had drive by so many times but never stopped I don’t even know how we didnt stop! Okay honestly Every sub we got was amazing! Chocolate chip cookie not pictured bc my son ate it so quick! Owner was so sweet and helpful! Store was clean and the food was so good. Def check them out
Casual dining with an old school deli vibe. They have a wide variety of sandwiches (hot or cold) and the bread is out of this world. Very soft, fluffy, and freshly baked. Great for dining in or grabbing on the go.
While visiting Savannah my friend and I wanted to try a good Deli sandwich and Larry’s was recommended! We were greeted with excellent service & the owner brought us a sample of meats to try to help us decide! All were delicious and we ordered a grilled chicken that had the softest home baked bread! A delicious filling sandwich and friendly atmosphere was a welcoming experience.
We are on a family vacation, and was looking for some places to eat. All the major restaurants were over an hour wait and couldn’t accommodate a family of 8. Luckily we happened upon Larry’s giant subs. An let me say what a life saver! Not only were they open, but the food was Amazing! The subs are so good everyone was talking about the next visit and what we are going to get. Even my picky eater can’t wait to come back. Mr. Paresh was quick with getting our subs to us but also great company. Very personable and generous as well. We had called around for a place to eat after waiting over an hour for longhorn next door, just to be told from them it was another hour to wait. An Mr Paresh told my husband that they were closing in 30 min, but would be happy to stay open for us even after hours so we can sit an enjoy our meal. Thank you for this wonderful customer service.
Grabbing a meal before we travel home and saw Larry's Giant Sub Shop. Fun atmosphere and delicious food! I recommend the Philly and the Cuban! Ask for the Peruvian sauce! Sweet heat awesomeness!

Stop here! Best subs and sandwiches! Excellent service and owner takes pride in his shop. Loved the turkey sub - others enjoyed their Rueben and another polished off the chicken salad in record time. Fresh buns and toppings too. Very clean place. We will be back!

I absolutely loved this place when we were in Savannah last year! They were SO friendly, the food was great, and it was a fun atmosphere. Would definitely go back when we're in the area!
