Nice establishment that makes the most of its limited space. The food comes in a nice big basket and the service is friendly, just slightly understaffed. Worth checking out if you like to bar hop!
It’s a nice place for sandwiches, all of their beers are decent. I like how they show history about Sayville, and it is very historic. However, the door is very noisy when you walk in, and I keep thinking it’s some animal.
What a cute tiny bar. There's security waiting at the door to check your I.D. so make sure you have it! I ordered a Sam Adam's Cherry Wheat. First time having it and it was very good; Sweet with only a subtle alcohol taste. There was a nice array of music. It was crowded but not in an uncomfortable w
Nice, cozy, local establishment. We had drinks and the giant pretzel, which was good. Next time we'll try more from the menu
First off, Matt, the bartender/waiter was really awesome! His service was top notch! We ordered chicken wings and the pastrami sandwich. Their wings were one of the best we’ve ever had. They were so juicy and crispy! The pastrami sandwich was piled so high and we know why they call it the Katz meow.
First time there, mid week lunch; great bartender, beautiful place. Didn't expect 2 big soft pretzels for my app, so that was a nice bonus. Hero was generously sized. Good selection of beer.
Small loud pub with good tavern food and friendly service.
Ice cold beer, good food and a great, friendly staff and clientele.
I go here once a month or so with my good friends and we love the bartenders and staff. Super friendly, you can tell they aren't just being extra friendly for tips, they genuinely seem happy to work there and happy to assist us. Very relaxed place, amazing atmosphere, and good drinks and great food
Outstanding local bar with super friendly service, great selection of nice cold beers on tap, and a great menu of handcrafted sandwiches! Always worth a visit.
Ice cold beer, hearty sandwiches and great people! Will be back !
I absolutely love this place! Great atmosphere (love the decorations they put up for different holidays/seasons and the fireplace in the winter months), wonderful bartenders and a terrific beer selection. They usually stay open quite late and don't just close up and boot you out the door if you're o
Revisited this place for the first time in 10 years and it’s still great!! A cozy little bar that is welcoming and has a great selection of beer!
An awesome little pub. It looks like a somewhat nautical/Pre American Revolution theme on the inside. Lots of regulars have their own plaques on the ceiling. Friendly bartenders. No need to fight or jostle for their attention. They sense your beer is getting low so they either fill it up or ask if
My friend sal likes to go here, he says the place has great sandwiches, he would know ,he's an aspiring chef.. I myself have not had the chance to stop in and sample their food ..
Great bar-pub! Good beer selection and great sandwiches!
A very nice, casual local pub. Free popcorn, friendly staff.
What a great local pub/eatery. This was my first time there. I ordered a Turkey Hero, with the pretzel and Mozzarella sticks for the table. I can not believe the amount of food that came out, we ended up taking a lot of it home. And the Turkey was not sliced cold cuts, it was actual Turkey off the b
