We ordered a tray of cookies instead of flowers for my family in Schenectady when they gathered for the passing of my cousin. Roie went above and beyond to give them a beautiful tray of cookies that everyone loved. Each one is beautifully hand-made by her! No-one wants to mourn the loss of a loved one, but I can tell you that the response from the cookies was remarkable. We were happy to show our love through this gesture and Civitello's went above and beyond to help us share our love with family.

When my brother and sister-in-law came to visit In Kansas City soon after, they brought us cookies, cannolis, and pizza from Civitello's. The pizza was incredible! The cookies, each hand made by Roie, were so moist and delicious - they did not last long. And, the Cannolis! Wow - thank you Angela for that delicious filling.
If you need to make yourself or someone you love immediately feel special, make sure to think about Civitello's first. Food vs. Flowers - I choose food! Thank you Civitello's!
The egg plant sandwich was oh do good! Would recommend anyone to go there. They have excellent bakery items as well! Owner is very nice!!
Civitellos is the real deal, as a child on a hot summer night our family would love to go to civitellos for the lemon ice! You can taste the passion these woman have in everything they make! The tradition lives on and we are so fortunate, thank you ladies❤️
Great old school Italian bakery. The manager is great. I came in with my kids and they were all over the place asking questions and just being kids and she was awesome! She was great and when my kids left they ran behind the counter and gave her a huge hug! I was like "oh my, I am sorry" but she was like "no way, that just made my day!" It was a nice feel good moment. Oh and the baked goods are awesome!

The sandwiches there are phenomenal. The deserts will blow you away.....the italian ice (lemon in particular) is the best anywhere. This is truly a hidden gem. If you are lucky enough to happen upon it, we will find yourself at that end of town frequently.
