Delicious and fresh. Good size servings. Highly recommend the western omelet with cheese. We were too excited to get on eating, so the food has been partially eaten on the photos. The omelet was the whole half of the plate. The side hashbrowns were pricey for $4.25, otherwise amazing.
Visit Pensilvania the other day, we stop to eat lunch here.

Looking for a place to take my family of 6 for breakfast while staying at great wolf lodge that wasn’t outrageously expensive. Great little diner here, staff was exceptional. Food was exactly what you expect for a small family diner. Great find. Couldn’t be happier
We were staying at the indoor water park lodge down the road for a few days. The place was so crowded that we left to find a place to eat breakfast. Luckily, we happened upon the Scotrun Diner after a local google search. The diner is clean and well maintained. The menu is not as extensive as some, but there were still plenty of choices. The omelets, pancakes and hashbrowns were delicious! You have a choice of shredded or cubed potatoes and we liked both. My son remarked that the unnecessary garnishes on the plate were missing. Simple, large portions and good quality. Reasonable prices.
We were looking for a diner in the area. Their menu looked good. They have a lot to choose from. The prices are good. The food was good and large portions. The diner was clean and inviting. The bathrooms were also clean. A well kept place. There's nothing like diner food!!!
The Jewel of the Poconos! We went here as much as possible while staying at Great Wolf Lodge. The prices and services could not be beat and it was only a 2 min drive. Highly recommend!!!

This place is good, the people here are super nice the tables are clean, and the food is great. Service can be more attentive as I had to request a few things. And the dessert's here are awesome.
What you want a diner to be. Really good. We got the Monte Christo, the tuna salad, the spanakopita and an egg sandwich on rye. All prepared in large portions, with care. Lots of seating, and time-traveling style make it worthwhile.
While staying at Camelback, started googling for hearty but affordable diners nearby. Lucky to have found Scotrun Diner, not only was the food filling and yummy, but the service was great, courteous and professional. Place was also well kept and clean. Good job to the management of this place. Strongly recommend! Oh and the coffee tastes freshly brewed not like other stale diners
I came to this diner on Saturday around 12:30 pm looking for a good bacon egg and cheese for my boyfriend but lunch foods for myself. It was right in the prime of a rush, but that didn’t stop the staff from being friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The waitress happily answered all of my questions and got our order in swiftly. In no time at all, our food was in front of us and we enjoyed every bite. The onion rings weren't soggy and the the French fries were good quality, perfectly crispy (and I appreciated that the fries, onion rings, and sweet potato fries were all the same price, no up-charge!). We decided that if we had time, we would return before heading home today. The place didn’t feel cramped, and had plenty of light, definitely a well maintained establishment.
Great small diner with great food and excellent service. Probably the best BLT and grilled cheese with bacon we’ve had in a very long time. Will definitely revisit when back in this area.
My family and I love this place, particularly for Saturday breakfasts! We have always had great meals here and very reasonable prices. All of the staff and servers are friendly and attentive! We love the omelettes, french toast and pancakes!
This is a great spot to eat with larger groups and families. A real, old-school, local diner!
They also have a nice tent for outdoor seating, In the summer! (I hope they continue to offer this regardless of Covid)
What a great all American Diner! Just had breakfast with my family and had the chopped steak omelet with Chedder and it was delicious! The rest had pancakes and eggs. Nice size portions and service is with a smile. I Highly recommend stopping for a meal.
We live locally so this is our go-to Diner. They have the best applesauce according to my daughter. My husband loves their gyros. They are super friendly and fast. Food is always excellent.
