BEST BAGEL PLACE IN SANTA CRUZ. Bagels are fresher and larger than Bagelry. Portions are bigger and cheaper than the Bagelry. You get more stuff on your bagel without having to pay extra, which unfortunately is the case at the Bagelry. I always get a Lox sandwich with capers, onions, lettuce, tomato, and cucumber already included in the price which is $7. At the Bagelry when I order a Lox sandwich, I get a stale bagel twice smaller and I have to pay extra for capers and tomatoes- $13 total, which does not have any lettuce or cucumber in it. House of Bagels is the best bang for your buck and has the tastiest bagels around. (Pic is what I took to-go this morning)
WOW, They know what they're doing! There was a line, so we thought it would be a long wait, but they are fast. Outside tables are available if you're not taking your food to go. The blended coffee drink was A+ too!

Didn't know what to get around here for lunch. And wow was I lucky to come upon this place.
Upon walking in it felt very local. It was clean, inviting and the smell was making me want food!
The menu is awesome with so many fantastic options.
I personally got the lox bagel and cream cheese. It was fresh and tasted awesome.

I highly recommend the bagels, they are full of bagel. The house of bagels is not actually made out of bagels, but oddly it is the house that bagels built. Food for thought... Those bagels.

Quick service, great selection of bagels. Loved the jalapeño bagel! Lots of tables outside to enjoy your breakfast.
Honestly amazing!! We love bagels and they were absolutely delicious. The price is awesome and the food is delicious. We are so excited to go back again.
